Default 5 layer head gasket/head stud combo's.

I have been doing some testing and it looks like the stock motor has a quality head gasket of 4 layers. The stock bolts look very good as well but.... when you guys start pushing the limits of these motors are you going to want that little bit of extra protection?

We have a local gasket company that can bulid us the 5 layer gaskets. This would net an additional -.25 to -.33 of compression (helps those looking for that little extra).

Next, head studs. Now we all know that ARP has a kit for these motors but just like the SRT4 then ended up falling short on doing it "right". The washers are pretty much to small to give a full and even load on the nut/washer surface. So, we have been doing some fitting here, there and some testing. There is a larger washer avaliable as well as a larger base nut to go with the ARP studs that come in the "kit". Would you guys like to see a custom head stud "kit" that supports more HP then the ARP kit?

The 5 layer gaskets if made will cost $149 a piece (this is if I order 50 at a time). The head studs should come in at around $150 to $175 for a set but that is pending order status (300 units have to be ordered at a time to get the better price break).

With all that said let me know if you are interested in this. I know that we don't have a problem with the head gaskets on our motors but I feel its just a mater of time before we do start seeing this as an issue. Let me know guys.
