I'm debating on two different mods to add to my 07 speed 3. One being a CX Racing FMIC and one being a Hypertech Tune. What do you think would be better to get for overall performance and reliability? Or if anyone else has different suggestions I am open to them. Please just help me out and don't be faggots and say some dumb shit. Thanks

Don't get a hypertech you will regret this decision. Get the cobb AP, over that, but currently where you are with your setup with the ebay racapipe the next mod that is necessary is a HPFP, and then a Cobb AP. Otherwise you are at risk of maxing out the stock pump, and causing your car to run lean.

well it is summer time so the BATs tend to be higher. And being in VA the temp throughout the entire year can greatly vary.

um almost, get the AP first its more expensive than internals and you can monitor your shit, THEN get internals but AP first

pump internals/AP. You'll need both eventually if you continue to mod. My order was AP then internals but it's really a catch 22 on getting one before the other, IMO. I don't know how much shifting has improved for you with just the SSP but might as well throw some solid bushings in there too...that's cheap as shit.

i'm not too familiar with autotech. I'll have to look into it. i just googled autotech and got the Autotech Hi-Volume Fuel Pump UpGrade Kit 2.0T FSI for $399.

Get an AP first as your hpfp should be okay with an ots tune and stock tmic. Then you will want pump internals before you would upgrade the intercooler and start tuning.
