(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Low 20's at redline with a 24 spike. The WGA needs additional adjustment for better results. WGA testing is getting done on this car as well so we should have better answers in a week or so. |

The details and price are as follows: I need a stock turbo from you for core build up. Cost is $599 for the turbo and $199 for the turbine housing work, full ceramic coatings on both will come standard. Testing will be to 28 psi and we will not warranty shaft failures at this time for the bigger wheeled unit. The smaller stock wheeled unit should have our 90 day warranty on them. Hope this helps.

| Not Ranked : 0 score Because some idiot will try to run his turbo without a wastegate, then blaim it on PTP. They don't know how much boost you are running, something can be reccomended, but do people always follow that? The factory put a boost limit on the MS3, but many raise the boost. |

| Theres nothing wrong with raising boost. You just have to be sensible when you do it.

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Consider yourself lucky that there is any warranty on them. 99% of all modded turbo upgrades are without any warranty, zero, nada, zip, zilch, nothing. We are one of the few modded stocker upgrade companies that offer a warranty with our turbos. We are not going to warranty the shaft because at this moment we don't have the faith in the factory design. Its going to take some more work and verification that there is enough to support the bigger wheel set ups. Not only that but we have seen what customers do to the SST for the SRT4N, I can only suspect that the MS3 owners are going to do the same. When I get a turbo back for the SRT4N and its been over boosted (fins on compressor are all opened up), then I know that someone was either running with a major boost leak or running upwards of 30 + psi. When we get it all figured out then maybe we will have a warranty on the shafts, only time will tell. |

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Bolded the part that most people seem to miss. When we do testing there is nothing sensible because we are trying to break it. Testing of the SST for the SRT4N found failures at 32 psi, this was running the turbo up to that pressure and not letting the BOV vent. By doing this we found the "failure point" for the SST. We also have other tests that play a part in getting a product to market, those are trade secrets. |

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score 23 to 24 spike. We can calm down the spike if need be but the car runs fantastic with the spike in there. We did see a 21/20 set up when we were tuning on 94 pump gas. Redline in this case is 6500, we are not running it all the way out and we have control of the throttle as well. |

Does anyone know the mechanism by which the ECM decides to stop to fun at >5500 RPMs? It is clear that it using the throttle position to kill massflow/pressure, but not what it is looking at when to determine this.

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score 12 volt hard wire to the driver motor, sets a code but doesn't kill the power. Tune is being ran with our tuning module. Its something that I have been trying to get marketed for a while and I will have something here very soon when I get that car over to Santa Anna. |

MAP can be completely dissabled (showing no boost with a clamp device) and nothing gets affected. The MAF data can be manipulated as well with a good piggy back to read safe AFR's and fuel trims but run a 3" intake (trust me I know now). So the MAF and MAP based logics are not installed in this car. The 5500 RPM cut is controlled by RPM? Not sure but as time progresses on people will have a fix for it. Here is the real problem, finding a DBW control box. I have talked with 20 different shops, EMS builders, GM R&D, and DCX engineers not one of them want to build something that gives control to the end user. Know why? LIABILITY!!!! If one item screws up and the car goes WOT all by its self, huge problems for who ever does this. I have a way to over come it but I will never ever post a how to or tell anyone how to do it. To much risk that some one would screw it up or have the car go WOT and kill someone. As time continues on someone will be able to shut off the saftey for the DBW and let us have 100% throttle opening from the factory ECU. Its only time.
