| Not Ranked : 0 score I had a thread about these a couple weeks ago. I have my kit and it looks damn good. I should have my package from onlinemazdaparts.com tomorrow, and the chain will go on when I get back from vacation after Christmas. I'll let you know how it does. The kit I have has shim packs in it so play should not be an issue. Tapatalking

i would try and find the cheapest OEM one possible because u know its built to stock standards. just because these other ones are made of steel doesent mean they are the correct width/length ect, which is the whole point of timing the motor.

I would need the plate (303-1061) dimensions also, because here in Europe we have not got such a good support and community to hire it for 1 or 2 days so I'm gonna make it my own. Thanks!

| Not Ranked : 0 score I'm retarded. I sure feels that way. I bought a cam alignment tool and now It wont fit. Everything tells me it should, the measurements provided in this thread and others confirm that the part that should fit the slot is 5mm. My CAT is 5mm, but I cant get anything bigger than 1mm when I use a feeler gauge to measure between the top of the head and the slot in the cam. What am I doing wrong? Is the slot offset so my cams are 180* wrong? |

Can you take a picture of the camshafts so we can see the orientation of the lobes as well as a picture of the slotted ends of the cams?
