(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Went out to the fl mayor install meet yesterday and cleaned my intake valves. Got it all back together, and started heading home (a little Over an hour) and my cel and traction control light came on. Codes are p0108, p0097 and p2178. I did do some searching and found out in general what it was, but no sure way to solve the problem. I did go out and check the connectors and didn't see anything off hand. I did unplug the maf and blowing out to be safe, but nothing changed. Any help would be appreciated. What it's doing is that when you let off the gas and re apply it, there is a huge delay from when you press the pedal to when you feel the car catch. Like it's bogging really bad. Rpms also seem to rise quite slow as well :/

| Not Ranked : 0 score Your intake manifold is probably leaking somewhere. Did you re-use the gasket? Clean the mating surfaces? Ensure all sensors, vac lines, purge valve etc. are all connected? |

| Not Ranked : 0 score I think one of the sensors in the manifold got fucked, when you were cleaning it with b12 plus some rain water))

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Yes we reused the gasket. I wish there was a way to pinpoint where the issue is, without just going in the and replacing things lol.

| Not Ranked : 0 score I would start off by checking that all your sensors are plugged in correctly

| Not Ranked : 0 score You have a leak somewhere as agent said 2178 if a too lean or rich at issue Idle, I d ont remember which most likely lean Also it is bogging because the leak is so bad the car is compensating so much fuel that it's going to make the car run like shit as it has to over compensate |

| Not Ranked : 0 score Start simple. Check the MAP sensor and ensure everything is plugged in and tight on and around the IM. If that doesn't work, pull the mani back off and check the gasket and mating surfaces. |

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Ok I'll check all this stuff out. I don't daily the car so it's not a huge issue. I just don't want it to permanently mess anything up

| Not Ranked : 0 score Although some say you can reuse it, the gasket should be replaced as a CYA. I'll bet you're running lean. Check over your intake system. Maybe when you put it back on a coupler wasn't seated right and has slipped off. Stranger shit has happened. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score May be far fetched, but check the connection to the throttle body..since its drive by wire and it controls part of the traction control system, could possible be an issue, leaky gasket should not light up tcs.

| Not Ranked : 0 score This my me giggle like a fool, mainly cause it reminded me of basically the same stupid mistake I made. When I had my sentra spec-v I put an intake on it and for about a week I couldn't figure out why my cel was on and the car was running like crap, turns out I forgot to plug the maf in when I installed it. After that any chance my friends would get they would go in and unplug it when I wasn't paying attention. Sent from my SPH-L720 using Tapatalk

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score It's still sputtering and bogging a little in low rpms, but the tip needs to be replaced. One of the little nipples on the back by the turbo broke off, so there's a leak. Do you think that would cause this issue?
