(Thread Starter) |   Not Ranked : 0 score  AP v3 or dashhawk + v2...??? i'm looking for opinions...i already have an APv2 and a beloved dashhawk that stopped working... i used to monitor my engine health with dashhawk reading 6 data with sound alarm set to knock (KR) and few other parameter... last week, the awk cable broke, i tried to repair it correctly, had to reload a new formware, it worked for few days and now id say that it miss some PIDS...i have searched on internet and i just found info about reflashing it...it doesn't work and i'm sure the connector is fine now,,, So i'm asking myself if it worth the expense to go for AP V3 only or if i should try to find another Dashawk ? I can't see if the V3 have programming for noise alerte or warning ? any infos/opiions is welcome!

| Not Ranked : 0 score I have been very happy with V2 + DH. The audible alerts are definitely cool. I have seen mine act up before where I had to basically do a full reset on the DH back to stock settings via computer, and then I reprogrammed my DH and it worked like a boss. If the display is good, and you are talking to your ECM, I think you can save it. I remember missing some PIDs even, and after a full factory reset on the settings, it recovered.

| Not Ranked : 0 score I love the DashHawk. Even though I haven't used it in a couple weeks it's still some of the best money I've spent. Helped me solve several problems when I first got my MS6. Now, the V3 AP is really nice. I really like how the DashHawk flashes colors and enlarges the screen when you have an issue (high knock) for example. I wish COBB would integrate similar features into the AP. I would run both my DashHawk and my V3 at the same time if I could. |

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score it recovered once and then went back again...would not restart and tell it is not communicating i cut the cord and redo the plug (Dahwhawk side) but no luck  i will try to test it locally with another working cord...

| Not Ranked : 0 score I think mine forgot it's mode settings a few times forcing a full back to stock and reload settings. I can't remember how I got it to go nuts. It happened a few times and then it got better. You are runnin 2.51 right?
