Default David Freitas @ Mazda6Carpet.com

I signed up for the presale and he looked pretty trustworthy because he already had another site named mazda3carpet.com and I couldnt find any bad feedback on the interwebs. These were supposed to be shipped out around the first week of April and it is now July and there seems to be nothing ready to ship. Anyone know this guy?

Hi Marcus, they have the car and have started producing the tooling. We will have some picture updates on some of the tooling going to be put up on the site soon.

Hi Marcus, so sorry I didn't get back to you sooner. There was a setback finding a suitable donor car for the tooling. But we have it straightened out. I'm sorry I couldn't get the carpet delivered by the date I had stated. I'm sorry if this has caused you any grief or inconvenience. I will have an update by this Friday.

If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to give me a call directly at 1-877-629-3876 extension 232.

Regards,

David Freitas

Supposed to be taller, thicker, and more sound proof. Plus it is supposed to smell better than my 130k+ mile old carpet lol.

I talked to David today and he is going to refund everyone. They have not been able to find a wrecked speed 6 with no cabin damage. From what he told me, they make a fiberglass mold of the cabin and send that off to a carpet company. The mold process makes the car basically undrivable for a couple weeks because of the fumes, and it is nearly impossible to get all of the resin off.

He said that most of their demand has been for the speed 6 carpet and not the 6 carpet and they are still looking for a wrecked speed 6 in the midwest area that has no cabin damage. If anyone knows of one, post it up!

They actually purchased a car that they were told was a speed 6 but when they got it, it turned out to be just a regular 6. That is seriously the story of our cars lol.

Sorry to resurrect this thread again, but I ordered carpet from there about a month ago and it came in right away. Maybe a week, I don't remember. Haven't installed it yet, but will try to tackle it this weekend. Anyway, just wanted to add a positive data point in case anyone finds this thread in a search.
