DCR Pro Series Turbo Manifold...

Here is one of many products coming fron DCR for the Mazdaspeed. DCR Pro Series Manifold all stainless steel, equal length with correct phasing, and smooth collector. With this design you can always upgrade from stock turbo, t-3, or t-4 frame turbos with internal or external gate. This will be one, common tubular manifold, with a DCR turn down leading into the turbo being offered in multiple configurations allowing stock frame, t-3 or t-4. This design will also allow external gate or internal gate without having to buy another manifold. You just purchase the DCR turn down for every upgrade.
This DCR turn down can be ordered as your set up requires.. and just specify stock frame, t-3 or t-4. Pricing will include manifold with your choice or DCR turndown. Add on pricing will include New Improved Tial 38mm V Banded Gate with SS Discharge Pipe.

O2 Housing / Downpipe will be coming soon. Pics up in a bit.

this is still just a prototype to be fitted, but it allows the turbo to be damn near anything, and depending on the turbo, you can put it virtually anywhere. there is gonna be bracing for it to help sopport the turbo as well.

but anyway... you all wanted tangible updates, and i dont think im gonna be letting you guys down for awhile.

I will post pics of inside collector tomorrow. All will come stainless steel and tig welded and warrantied from cracks. The final look will be a satin polished look. Coatings will be additional. 1 egt bung will come standard in our exclusive DCR Turn Down. This manifold allows for endless possibilities allowing a single purchase of manifold.

Tentative pricing will be $1195 for the DCR ProSeries MS Manifold including your choice of turn down configuration being stock frame, t-3 or t-4.

Sorry I have not been posting as I have been extremely busy doing the r & d on these Mazdaspeed engine, turbos and intakes. I will be sure to keep you guys up to date on all progress as we move forward with this awesome platform. I cant stress enough the potential I see with this engine!!!

I can not wait to see the gate and dump installed on this thing tomorrow! The other nice thing is we can do a turn around pipe for the guys wanting to go all out with even larger turbos hung over the tranny location...botton line the manifold remains the same.

im so excited right now. i got there AND THIS!!!

i had the medieval mani there and was very specific to show them all the mistakes the others had made... with the measurements we took this thing is gonna fit like a dream. they were laughing at me for worrying..lol
and pictures dont even begin to do it justice!!!

the whole vband idea was genius. you can use this anyway you could imagine, and when you see the collector you will totally crap your pants. the velocity this thing is gonna produce will be vicious.... totally vicious. i cant wait to put it on a car.

we'll test fit it on a stock ms3 come monday.. we'll have pictures of that when it happens. we also want a dyno and since my car is done still for the SHORT TERM... maybe speed3shon would like a wittle mani? whats up shon... you game...lol?

We will be offering these immediately too!!!!

This looks like a great product Randy - glad to see some products of this caliber being offered for us by DCR. Do you know if Darrell has many any more comments on the strength of the motor and why we are losing so many of them in strange ways? Like you said earlier, the stock rods are not any less beefy than an SRT4. Perhaps some solutions or conclusions he's made after teardowns to keep the boom boom away and power coming?

whats the difference between this motor and the srt. hint = how its fueled + how its tuned. this motor isnt any different than any other motor hes torn down except its stronger to sustain quick torque and a tuning strategy geared towards power AND 30mpg. there are plenty of other minor flaws hes seen, but nothing that has jumped out to separate itself in some scary, wtf way that we all fear.

hopefully, more shortly, darrell can answer some of these questions himself. quite frankly... i think he would chuckle at all our fear mongering tho. i know it doesnt seem to be much of a sustained conversation when its come up between us as we look over our motors.

the wg will mount on the "turn down" and the dumptube will shoot straight down, at a 90degree angle, next to the collector through the "turn down", and the #4 runner. there is enough room there to drive a mac truck. if you have trouble visuallizing it, just wait until tomorrow.
it is a truly unique and thoughtful design and they had an answer for every question i thought to ask. this really seems to me to be a final, adjustable solution. the wg/dump options on the other designs, usually leave a queer route to exit. this will be simple and when the kit, with a dp is offered the reroute into the dp will be a snap, for those that want that.

the cool thing is that only the "turn down" will have to modified.

The manifold looks great but it looks like that bottom runner would get in the way of the turbo, idk if its just the angles of the picturs or not. Did you hook a turbo up to this and connect it to a downpipe. Also do all the turbo upgrades fit from the gt28-gt35?
