Default Easiest way to access top 02 sensor

I am bringing in my car to mazda for them to look at the turbo/smoking issue but sometimes I find it doesnt smoke that much and dont want them to give me any excuses. I was going to shoot a bit of oil in 02 sensor port but in all honestly dont know these cars yet and have no idea what the easiest way or where it is really... yes I will find it but in asking from you experienced guys where to do it from.. lift car or not.

What should I use on the sensor to hope that it doesnt wreck the thread or damage itself?

Thanks, I did search but havent found my answers.

Well if you searched you would know that the sensors are a pain to take off and more than likely get ruined.

Have fun committing fraud by putting oil in there

You can use an o2 sensor socket to remove it. 22mm iirc. Its right there on top just remove the tmic and heat shields (been so long since Ive looked at a stock car)

Make sure when you are removing it when it starts to bind stop and re tighten. From there proceed to remove again. They are pretty easy to remove most of the time but heat helps a ton also some pb blaster just dont get it on the sensor.

dude, by the time you drive your ass to the dealer, all the oil will have burned away anyways. get there, go in, but let the car idle while you're there, if it doesn't smoke after idling for 20 mins, you don't have fucked seals.

Well its burning a bit more oil then I think is acceptable and it does smoke at idle more then any other car especially when warmed up. We all know how the dealers are they will try and say that nothing is wrong with the car and in all honesty my warranty expires soon and if i can get this looked at and replaced id rather do that.

are you sure its just not condensation? I noticed you live in Ontario and I know when it gets cold here it looks like my exhaust is on fire spewing smoke from all the condensation.

really? my second gear was grinding when it was cold, but i didn't have to put water in the tranny for them to diagnose a known problem. just bring it in and don't let them give it back to you until it is fixed. this is a problem already acknowledged by mazda, so trying to fake it won't help you.
