Forgot I am a old vendor there, I never post there though, haha.

I'll tr to get some interest on that forum, but try not to cross-link it over, if that is a problem. The more the merrier, the sooner we can start reflashing.

I am aiming to begin flashing at the beginning week of April, VERY soon

Trying to post but wow, their boards are amazingly slow. enough flaming for now though, I'll try to post there later on.

I wanted to update everyone on some more reading I did. Old news maybe, but heres a dyno of a bolted up Mazdaspeed 6 with a CDFP tuned at 18psi... you can see the difference in boost vs hp vs RPM at the high end, 30hp increase with JUST the additional of the CDFP.

Again, we may release a Stage 2+ reflash, which is the Stage 2 with the addition of of the CDFP. We will be working with Mrlilguy's High pressure Fuel Pump solution to create a custom reflash.

-Adding the CDFP on a Stage 1 or 2 will NOT induce fuel cut!
-Frees about 30hp at the high end
-Our Stage 2+ reflash will give you the most power from your CDFP upgrade, with supporting modifications.

Check out the below Dyno/datalogs, courtesy of dadasracecar.

You can crosslink, not a big deal. Maybe save some of those poor members from the idiots who run that site. Thats the largest group of uninformative users i have ran across since owning a mustang.

Yep. Other countries like Europe, Aus, usually have 90 octane or less.

1000? Maybe not. Currently, redline is 6800, with rev limiter at 7000, am I right? We can raise the rev limiter, but I need to do more testing to be sure it's safe..

Yes sir You can run race fuel safely as well.
Remember, we are using a factory ECU and adjusting the AFR, Timing, Fuel, etc. Most factory settings are retained, making a ECU Reflash VERY safe.

No lose wires, no cutting, splicing, etc.

I shift at 5800-5900rpms...its pointless to go any further(for me). What I was saying is that it would be nice to use the extra 1000 rpms (to 6800rpms).

I am getting incredible amounts of PMs now.

I will make a change here. Instead of the first 12, it will now be the first 20.

Pricing is not yet announced, but will be updated int eh first post and a reply, VERY SOON.

I will now say this. The first 20, will be cheaper than ANY PNP EMS Available. What's the cheapest PNP Mazdaspeed3 EMS? $1099 (Xede PNP) Hundreds less
MSRP on this reflash is $1000, selling for $890 overseas, but again... I am giving crazy low pricing for the initial 20 orders.
We are taking pre-orders now, please PM me anyone who is serious, and wants in on the first 20.

Anyone that is considering the Cobb AP and is holding out on one needs to re-evaluate their decision.

First, Cobb is VERY conservative on what they give you.

Secondly, they keep pushing the AP release back.

Third they will not have a good enough map for people beyond a dp, cai or racepipe. Hell they didnt even release the dyno numbers.

Something to consider guys, esp those who are beyond the basic mods and need to step it up.

PR,
how bout us MS6er's... The cheapest PnP ems is the Unichip thats being released sometime this week at $699. I know I haven't read through the whole thread but I am interested in this as well. I already have the PnP Standback but I'm lookin at other EMS setups.

The Unichip is $699 as well. Finding a tuner is hard, that tuner having AWD tuning = harder. Dyno tuning time is costly for Unichip tuners, completely different (from what I was told when I was going to get my Mazda6 tuned).

We have complete control over the ECU, Unichip does not.

Like I said, our pricing will be around the same price as Unichip, and we will have many more updates, upgrades, capabilities, etc.

I've been getting PMs to take orders, I am not ignoring those PMs, but saving them for tomorrow/Wednesday when I will star to take orders. We've already got the first two MS3, MS6 orders each, and judging from the PMs received over the past hour, spaces are filling up fast. First come, first serve.

what exactly are dadaracers graphs suppose to proove?
I dont mean to be a dick here but how can you sell this with zero proof so far. There is one dyno of a ms3 that gained 40 whp with an intake and raised boost. The powerband appears to be higher, but rumor has it their ecus are different to begin with. MY budy dynoed 246 stock and 294 with a intake and boost controller.... the power drop off sucked.

If i can simply get proof of throttle control/boost holding/and a dyno with a/f ratios on a bolted car ill pay in 5 min. Until then theres alot of speculation and hype but no real data.

Dadas graphs simply show the increase in power with the addition of a CDFP.
We are swapping and tweaking the ECU file from the Mazda3 MPS to the Mazdaspeed3. I have been guaranteed it is working, and we should have datalogs, dynos, etc from a handful of those who will be amongst the first.

As for throttle control, it is still something not available, but Piasini is aware and working on this as well.

We are not holding full boost to redline, but we are holding it higher and longer than stock.

I must be reading the graph wrong then...

http://www.mazdaspeedforum.org/forum/foru...8&d=1206413601

Looking at near the end of the graph, the blue line is before the CDFP install, red and green is after. I am seeing higher numbers here..

any proof of this? The dashhawk proof you posted could be easily replicated with a car that has a i/tbe. Hell my car on the stock boost hits 17 and hold 16 til about 5800 then by 6500 im at 12ish

read the notes...each line is at a different psi...the reason some gain power at the top is becuase the car is leaned out...that has nothing to do with the pump.

Lets say I get my ECU flash from you guys and you mail it back to me and everything is all gravy. For some reason I need to reset my ECU, will your flash reset as well to factory settings and I will lose all the 40whp that I gained from your flash?

Once the ECU's rom is written, it stays until you rewrite it. Think of a BIOS chip in your motherboard. Its a ROM and when you flash it, it re-writes the code. If you do a BIOS reset, the firmware is still there, but your user adjustable settings are gone.

Since the ECU wont allow you to make any user settings, resetting it does nothing other than doing a reset on it like you would your factory. The performance reset is not gone, its still there.

One more question. What exactly does the ECU changes to add power?

Will it still start the "learning curve" over after a reset like it does in stock form? Also, can it adjust things other than just the tune (seat belt chime, drivetrain characteristics, ect...)

We alter the AFR by adjusting the same parameters a Piggyback does... Fuel, Timing, etc.

I get a lot of PMs asking about using a boost controller on our reflash, the answer is yes. Our reflash will be set at 16lbs, but like the factory ECU, you can install your own EBC or MBC.
