| Not Ranked : 0 score There would need to be a LARGE amount of condensation before it could damage anything.

| Not Ranked : 0 score Thats what I'm thinking... and big droplets of water have no business inside a cold pipe. My AC lines get condensation... and super cold CO2 will almost certainly cause whatever moisture is in the air to cling to the coil... Even if its not spraying CO2 the coil will stay cold and under light throttle the air is moving slowly enough to cause the condensation to form... then when you go FT it'll pick those poorly atomized droplets up. Probably won't cause too much issue.... but I don't like the idea of not having control over that. With my water injection I know I'm getting high atomization that will spread evenly through the intake, and I know WHEN its injecting. I dig this IC... but I'd like to see more technical details... does condensation actually form, what is it capable of flowing, etc. I really think this IC would be better without the CO2 stuff... but I'd like to know what TRZ thinks about that and whether or not I'm talking out of my ass here.

| Not Ranked : 0 score I think your reading too much into it. There will be very little if any condensation if your not running the CO2(you probably pull in more water when it rains), if you do run the CO2through it, any condensation on the pipe will freeze and you'll only get a small amount of water vapor as it melts away...

| Not Ranked : 0 score the little dropplets wont be nearly as much as water injection would inject, and if anything will only help cool the mixture more. i plan on testing it soon. there is only one other company i have found using a similar design and they have AWESOME results. i could have went TMIC for even cheaper if i had TRZ do it for me, but i dont want it. in MOST situations you dont get extra benefits from it. but hey thats a whole nother debat thread ! |

| Not Ranked : 0 score so just to summarize ... this TMIC is supposed to lower boost temps by 20% below AMBIENT? Are my Dashhawk numbers that far off... Today my AAT was 63deg, while my IAT was 84deg .... and my boost temps were 105deg and only dropping to 95 under boost. Is the stock intercooler that bad, or are my numbers off. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score 20% below ambient is with the CO2 system. As far as condensation on the CO2 coils... I know a small amount of water won't hurt the engine, but actually helps. The thing is that its just another X-factor... and theres no way for me to control the amount of water that goes into the engine like there is with the WI. Maybe I'm just being paranoid about it.

the 20% below ambeint temp statement was based on use with the co2 running. and yes i do believe IF this is offered it can be added as an option. even without it, the cost would still be more than ETS though. for the simple fact that ETS makes their own cores. TRZ has to buy their cores for $300 by itself !!

| Not Ranked : 0 score my guy at forge told me my couplers shipped last FRI. so i should be getting them any day now. once they get here i am ready to install !! to answer your question GSRTYPE1......... no the co2 is not injected. it simply goes in one side and out the other. you can just let it vent to the atmosphere or try to use it further like i will. i will be purging the system through a spray bar mounted on top of it. |

but something i havent heard anyone address, is .. . .. . Is anyone tried using a TMIC spray bar yet? im very curious if there is going to be clearance issues, or if it will even fit on top.. i would really like to run a TMIC with co2 and with a sprayer. insted of a FMIC. so if this all works out i might be very intrested. and would like to know if anyone has had success with a TMIC co2 sprayer.

| Not Ranked : 0 score I used to spray nitrous on my stock tmic over a year ago. It deffinately made a difference, but the heatsoak fried the solenoid after a winter of not being used at all. I don't think there's room for a spraybar in the duct with an ets though. Mine was rubbing against the tmic shroud and even wore through it a little. |

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score production could be started any time, the issue is seeing actual demand. everyone on a forum could say that they want one, then half of the people will commit, then half of those still will back out and leave standing the actual number of people who'd pay for one. not to sound like a pessimist, this is just what tends to happen on a product like this on a forum ![]() preliminary details are out there, price (generally) is out there, pictures are out there. everything else aside, i'd like a list - cut and paste your name to it - of people who really want this intercooler and want to see it happen. this will be what i'll pass along to TRZ to push forward. example; 1) tru-boost 2) captainkrm 3) |

| Not Ranked : 0 score OK let me address this stuff..... the CO2 sprayer will fit on this IC with no problem what so ever. this IC does not use the big eye sore shroud like ETs and auto exe. that being gone leaves plenty of room for the lines to be ran up to the bar. i will be installing this set up soon. i hope to fix my cut/spark issue first, so i can see maximum gains with high boost. i did in fact see a 3psi gain with no changes other than the IC swap !! the car spools up very fast and i see the extra 3psi through most of the mid range. up top it seems to hold 1-2psi more at redline. last night 4th gear held 17psi until the rev limiter hit !! i think much of the gains are from the cold pipe. that stock thing is TRASH ! i feel sorry for those with another TMIC upgrade. all that great flow from a good core that gets bottlenecked by that pipe is a waste ! look at this bad boy ! if you really want one add your name to the list to let TRZ know ! |

| Not Ranked : 0 score those are silicone coupler from FORGE. yes TRZ will provide everything that is needed to do a complete install. if they decide to go ahead with production they want to get a car in their shop in KISSIMMEE FL to make another one. mine fits well but they say with a car in their shop they can make it perfect. i know i mentioned it before but for those new to this thread you do have to remove the rubber seal that hangs down under the hood. you also have to cut out a chunk of the plastic under the hood to fit the massive 3" cold pipe. i know some people are weary abou that kind of stuff, but trust me ITS WORTH IT !! that is what makes it better than all the comp as an IC by itself. add the CO2 option and nothing can come close ! |

| Not Ranked : 0 score can you show what needs to be modified? i think many people are interested because they want to keep warranty and have an easy way to go back to stock. if a large noticable chunk has to be cut out and is not replaceable - then i think interest would be a bit less - especially since the price difference between this and a FMIC isn't all that much. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I've been looking at the 3.5" ETS for awhile now, but this TRZ one looks better. I just can't wait! I've got an itchy "Buy Now" finger and ain't afraid to use it. The waiting is killing me. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score I am not a fan of how long the couplers are, maybe this is part of what they need a test fit car for. It appears the cold pipe could be fabricated a little better to decrease the coupler lengths. I also am having a hard time of seeing where the BPV is located and how easily it mates up to the intake for the recirc hose. Another question, how do you see 3 psi more boost from just installing a tmic? This is a pressurized system that should bleed off boost over the stock 15ish psi no matter the pressure lost through the IC. I would like to see core testing for efficiency, pressure drop, and dyno numbers for completely stock car with this IC. Still early and too many questions to commit to an almost $700 tmic. |
