(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score 06 MS6. Got it with cheap parts store coils and it ran poorly with random misfires everywhere. Swapped to new OEM coils and all was well except 5500+ where it would misfire. Put new NGK 6510 plugs in gapped .026 all the way to .019 and no change. There are no boost or load tables influencing a fuel cut. Stretched the springs, nothing. Replaced the springs with proper length 4 gauge copper grounding wire, no dice. At this point I'm at a loss. The tune is solid. BNR S4 on E50 at 24psi with a Treadstone FMIC, fuel pump internals and HTP 3" intake. AFR's are perfect and timing is a 4 degrees under MBT up top for now. I haven't gone into leak down, cylinder leakage or EGR leak tests yet but it looks like I'm heading that way if I haven't missed some sort of ignition fault. |
