(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score So I just wrapped up installing the Corksport drop-in turbo & 3.5 bar MAP sensor, C/S TMIC, C/S HPFP Internals, C/S 3.5" intake, C/S non-catted downpipe, installed new PCV valve and catch can, cleaned the intake valves, and did the JBR EGR delete. I got a basemap done by a local tuner and gave them a list of my current mods, and they sent me over a map which I have flashed. Car turns over but immediately dies. Tried to start it about 10 times and same thing every time. I'm showing about 900 psi of fuel pressure on the AP, throttle and pedal position look good. Only error code is for the EGR (since it's deleted). Checked all connections and checked the infamous grounding screw by the HPFP, and can't find anything. I didn't think to check the MAF on the AP last night, but will be doing that later today (car is at my friends house). The only thing I can think of is that maybe they didn't factor in the 3.5" intake when they made the base tune. Is there anyone out there who can take a look at the tune to determine yes or no? The tuner isn't open on the weekends, and I was hoping to get the car back home today.

| Not Ranked : 0 score If I'm not mistaken tunes are generally locked by the tuner and you can't change them on your own. Since he is closed on the weekends I would suggest swapping back to whatever intake you had on before the upgrade and see if that rectifies your problem. Then you will know for certain Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk |

| Not Ranked : 0 score I had the same problem when I installed a 3" intake. Car needs to be tuned for the increased air flow. Once I got my tune updated for the intake it ran perfect. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score More correctly, your MAF needs to be tuned for the decreased air velocity.

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score As a follow up, I checked the MAF voltages as I was cranking it, and it was very low, like 1.5. We disconnected the MAF, turned the key, and BAM, car started right up. So it was the MAF calibration in the tune afterall. Hopefully I'll get the new tune tomorrow, then I can finally drive this thing to get it properly tuned.
