*Interest thead* Vintage 'M' Mazda decals ENDS JULY 10th!

This is an interest thread for the vintage 'M' Mazda decals like the ones I did for the group buy last year.

They are a flexible, acrylic domed decal.

They will be available in two sizes: 2 1/8" This will fit over all current model Mazda wheel centercaps. 4" This will cover the alignment holes behind your stock rear emblem. It can also be used for a front emblem if desired. It does require custom, permanent modification to work.

They will be available in only black backround/chrome M.

List your name and quanity of each.

Ex. Hectik1- (2) 4" (4) 2"

Also, anyone posting interest "pending price" in their interest...post up what you would pay. It is a lot better than just "pending price", as if it is more than say $10 for a 4" decal, and you bug out, it fucks up the group buy, and wastes a ton of time. I paid $20 for a 4" decal just a few weeks ago from someone on the forum, so anything less is a steal. I am hoarding up!

Price depends on how many people want them.

On the gen 1 the front requires you to pull off the stock emblem, grind down the grille/bumper smooth, have a back plate made for the decal to sit, and figure out a way to attach it to the grille/bumper. It's permanent.

For those interested in making the 4" decal fit the front, read this:

It took a while for me to get the front badge done on my Gen1. Basically, what I did, with help from a local guy with a Dremel, was to grind every piece of the black backing of the M badge back so it was flush with the painted bumper part. That means, essentially grind it to friggin nothing. All that was left was the center part. He was able to cut out a piece of 1/8" plexiglass at his work that was the dimensions of the stock badge. I painted the outsert part black (rattle can spray paint for plastic) and then put a clear XPel headlight protector on top of that, and then put on the decal over that. I then used a Dremel with a 80 grit paper, and roughed up the back of the plexiglass. I put on a 2 sided tape, then put it on. the 2x tape only came in contact with the painted bumper. There was a little bit of the M black plastic left, so I used the most awesome stuff ever to bond the plexi to the M. Billy Mays' Mighty Putty. That shit is like a putty version of JB Weld. It is on there.

Is it a mod for anyone? Not really. Need someone with skills with making a backing plate for the badge, and good Dremel skills to cut up the black plastic.

Yeah, I have been begging for these for a long time. I am glad it's an option again. I have almost all I really need. Stocking up and then going to use one wheel decal for the steering wheel.

What exactly do you have to modify on the front to make it fit, cause I want it on the front and back
