I'm not grumpy, sarcastic yes, grumpy no.

Although the forum truncating the last 2 XX's of my screen name and not telling me or asking me to shorten my name did make me a bit grumpy...

So any MS3's in the OC post here?

totmacher is dcrs crew chief, and a fellow mark riley turbo tune buddy of mine everybody. he also has a srt that is sorta fast(pics please). there.. thats just so theres a connection. and yes...we have quite a following of oc area ms3s james. if im not mistaken... Haltech, the forum owner is right next door to you there.

I'll have him fix your name so your not grumpy anymore, and i'll try to have him lift the post/ pm nanny as well. then you guys can hopefully hook up sometime and he can show you how fast the car he refuses to track or dyno is.

Photoshop, that car is so fast if you really lived in cali it would be illegal. Just look at the IC, racing stripes, flames, and wheels. You know its fast.

Well the car is at DCR. Got it there tuesday night. Hooray!!

I spent the day at dcr again today, and everybody is excited to get going on it. We spent a little time looking over a head i brought over from my old motor.... and we got the extra motor off the trailer as well. Darrell himself has promised to start posting impressions as the teardown starts occuring here soon.

Id also like to invite anybody with motors, heads, fuel lines, injectors, cams, etc to contact me if they have them. If you think i might want it... ASK!! I want to stockpile as much of the important stuff as i can for now. Weve discussed the things they may bring to market for us, and i think you all will be surprised by the time its done. Im gonna keep it a secret for now

DCR doesnt make fast cars, they make racecars guys. I am fully confident were going to turn a corner here. I really am... exciting stuff ahead. There is no hurdle to large when 1000whp 4cyl turbo cars are run of the mill. And dont for a second think DCR hasnt worked on every platform out there. They have, with all the top cars out there. DCR is where many of the top pro guys turn when theyve exhausted all the rest. The hurdles we have just arent that high when 500-600whp is "all" your after. You just have to know who to ask, where to go, and what approach you need to take.
Tuning... fuel.... whatever. Theres always a fix at this level.

Anyway... im stoked....lol They TRULY seem committed to this car now.

Well the car is at DCR. Got it there tuesday night. Hooray!!

I spent the day at dcr again today, and everybody is excited to get going on it. We spent a little time looking over a head i brought over from my old motor.... and we got the extra motor off the trailer as well. Darrell himself has promised to start posting impressions as the teardown starts occuring here soon.

Id also like to invite anybody with motors, heads, fuel lines, injectors, cams, etc to contact me if they have them. If you think i might want it... ASK!! I want to stockpile as much of the important stuff as i can for now. Weve discussed the things they may bring to market for us, and i think you all will be surprised by the time its done. Im gonna keep it a secret for now

DCR doesnt make fast cars, they make racecars guys. I am fully confident were going to turn a corner here. I really am... exciting stuff ahead. There is no hurdle to large when 1000whp 4cyl turbo cars are run of the mill. And dont for a second think DCR hasnt worked on every platform out there. They have, with all the top cars out there. DCR is where many of the top pro guys turn when theyve exhausted all the rest. The hurdles we have just arent that high when 500-600whp is "all" your after. You just have to know who to ask, where to go, and what approach you need to take.
Tuning... fuel.... whatever. Theres always a fix at this level.

Anyway... im stoked....lol They TRULY seem committed to this car now.

My dealer has a full CX-7 engine assembly sitting on the floor(it's complete from the IM to the turbo, it has everything), they think it's got bent valves, but aren't sure it just didn't run. I'll ask the mechanic what they want for it when I go pick up my injector seals tomorrow..
