k20s last, ask my buddy jpslick. k20 02 or 03 types, comptech blower at 11 psi, plus a shot of spray and all the bolt ons. car trapped 116+ and he sold it with 67k on it to get the 335. Go on club rsx, these people do exsist, yes some blow due to abuse, but if you do it right, and you know how to take care of it, it will last.

No an LS Hybrid VTEC motor is not a stock motor. HOWEVER.....it is a stock head and a stock bottom end. I don't see why you can't make the distinction between the two dude.

I'm not going to patronize you because I know you know how a motor is built but rods are in the shortblock. If the shortblock has not been touched then it is stock. A longblock consists of a shortblock with the proper matching head for the shortblock attached. In between these two is a head gasket.

Now, if everything is oem and proper and no swaps have been made, the longblock would be stock (I"m not counting intake, manis, etc). If I swap another head on to the shortblock then the shortblock would be stock, the head assuming there was no modification would be stock for a different motor, and the longblock (shortblock + head) would not be stock.

Should you swap out a head gasket, then your motor would not be stock (read longblock) but your head would be stock and your shortblock would be stock. It is that simple.
