(Thread Starter) |   Not Ranked : 0 score  Mazdaspeed 6 getting insane knock spikes hey guys i have a beautiful 2006 gt with 55k miles on her and recently I have been getting insanely high knock values and a lot more often than i used too,i have slight mods such as magnaflow exhaust, mazdaspeed cai, and a turbo smart blow off valve, I have also been tuned by purple drank. Im getting knocks at 6.5-7.0 almost every time i drive the car, but it NEVER happens during wot, it happens at weird times like say im in 3rd gear or 4th gear at about 3000-4000 just slowly accelerating and i get non stop knock, i am at a loss for words as to why it is happening, I have no idea what im doing when im reading a data log from the acessport, so ill attach it to the post, the first 1.75 happened exactly as i shifted, so i think that was false knock but im no expert, but if some of you fine fellows would look at my data log and give me some insight i would love to hear what you have to say ,hopefully shes okay  thanks guys  Last edited by jthegreat18; 12-12-2017 at 06:29 PM. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score Totally normal part throttle knock, nothing to worry about. Very common on early gen 1 speed3s and speed6s. My datalogs at part throttle look exactly the same as yours. Only worry about knock if it happens under WOT.
