(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Inspired by the way the Dashhawk can be mounted, I decided to make my own! I went to home depot and picked up a metal bracket, cut it to size, plasti-dipped it for the color and to cover the sharp edges, cut out a piece of the plasti-dip so I could add velcro and... done! The bracket is just pressed in and stays pretty well. It's still within normal driving view but also doesn't block anything. Overall, a cheap but seemingly effective mounted method!

| Not Ranked : 0 score Nice idea. I have been wondering how hard it would be for someone like @Block8head to take a cp-e or lotek 3 gauge center pod and form one of the holes to work for an ap instead.

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Yeah that would be nice. It would look a lot cleaner too.

| Not Ranked : 0 score I like it. How does this mount exactly? What kind of bracket is it?

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score I just press the bracket into the little slot next to the center display area (no idea what it's called). The pic is some random interior, but the arrow is pointing to what I'm talking about. The bracket is just a thin, metal L-bracket. I found it among various shapes of brackets for woodworking, I'm guessing. I plasti-dipped it (particularly the part that is pressed into the slot) so it wouldn't scratch anything.
