Fork pads aren’t a sure fire fix for the cause, and once the synchros are shot pads won’t do any good. You have to replace the synchros.

Planning to pick up a spare trans soon and do a rebuild with one of those modified shift forks for 1st and 2nd, as well as a new synchro for second. I feel like that should do it. Right? Hopefully?
