A really good/cheap Dashhawk & AP holder

I should have posted this sooner. I found this $8 holder at Pep Boys I think like 2 years ago-

Thing is almost made for Accessport (v2 anyways). I double-sided taped it to my center left dash vent with that good grey 3m double sided tape and it's been there for two years. I taped it on the vertical surface and the horizontal surface of the vent and mount bracket. I put a little velcro inside of it to really hold the AP or dashhawk.

What's cool about it, is it rotates on a little ball mount do be upright or sideways.

AP mode; shit looks like it was made for it, the connector comes out of that little bottom notch.



Dashhawk mode; I just turn it sideways and it holds the dashhawk perfectly.




Thing doesn't get in the way of my shifter or hands, it is easy to push buttons on with just a slight movement of my right hand. I dunno, it's just dumb and works well. It's Type S PH-10003-6

L bracket with velcro works best in my experience. makes what its holding look like its part of the dash. costs like $1 plus whatever the cost of the velcro. plus you dont have to leave a patch of velcro on the dash since youre only applying it to the bracket.
