| Not Ranked : 0 score It's normal for fiberglass to have imperfections. There is always extra labor involved to get fiberglass pieces to look good and smooth. Urethane parts usually have a better finish.

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score There's no excuse to ship sub par parts to people. Especially when they spent $330 on it. Not just the holes, but you can also see that each side was cut uneven. Good thing that will be under the car unseen. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score It's a fiberglass lip, and you are upset the the characteristics of a fiberglass lip, being present in this fiberglass lip? ![]() And you're upset about a tiny little cut being off, that won't even be seen at all when it's on the car? ![]() You sound like a whiny bitch.

| Not Ranked : 0 score You could have saved a ton of cash and just picked up an 06-07 Impreza S204 Front Bumper Lip (Urethane) on Ebay. It wouldn't have any pin holes. Its been done many times and looks decent. Whenever I watch custom build car shows they always fill, sand, and smooth the fiberglass body parts they get before painting. So it is normal. Maybe they could have taken the time to do that for you. For $330 I don't think its unreasonable to expect that on such a small part. Take it to a body shop and have them fill, paint, and fit it. With the amount of effort and money you're putting in to make your car show quality, you might as well. Did you factor in that cost in the beginning? Park Hard!

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score I already had an STi lip on the car. Removed in favor of this one. Sorry, nothing short of ready to go is acceptable when shipping parts to clients. Same goes for any industry. Also, not like I'm the first to have quality issues w/NextMod so yea... We're not talking about a canard here, a front lip is a big part. As stated, I filled the holes last night & I will be painting it this weekend. The whole point is customers should not have to correct quality control issues regardless of item or industry. I hope at least one person benefits from this thread.

| Not Ranked : 0 score This is one reason I’ll be opting for urethane when I eventually buy a lip. Plus those come with more of a glossy black compared to the flat black fiber glass. I don’t see a point in painting it when it’ll probably get all scratched up.

| Not Ranked : 0 score Why didn’t you go with CS front lip? A little less expensive than what you paid and it was fitted and built specifically for the genpu.

| Not Ranked : 0 score agreed with everyone else, you're always going to have pinholes and minor imperfections. Those parts are meant to be painted, and as they said the issues would be solved as part of the normal painting process. Body parts rarely come 'ready to go'. They are built and designed with the caveat that body parts will always need some degree of finishing(painting) and minor fitting to be truly finished parts. I'll also point out that its also normal for unseen/hidden parts of a body trim item to be unfinished and/or slightly off. Again its parts of the fitting/finishing process. While I agree its pretty crappy to have one side noticeably larger, hell it was the first thing I noticed in the pic, its not unheard of. In this case I'd side with NextMod. Their answers were legit and he agreed to give you $50 without an argument. You got petty asking for a few bucks more. I'm all for calling a vendor out when its deserved, but I'm also a fan of speaking common sense when a vendor has done nothing wrong.
