(Thread Starter) |   Not Ranked : 0 score  Totaled mazdaspeed 6. Should I salvage? Hey everyone. I just bought a mazdaspeed 6 and had to pay 1200 to replace the Vvt. Last week a guy pulled out in front of me on the highway and I couldn't evade and hit him with quarter panel. He is completly at fault. His insurance company said the body shop said that there is minor frame damage and its totaled. They have given me an option to buy back the salvage Mazda for 3500. Is it worth it for the engine and transmission and all four wheels that are unharmed? |

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score If I repaired it as a salvage title vehicle and fix it myself what would I have to do to make the engine and trans more bulletproof. If I did buy it and fix it I would want to to run as long as possible since it would have no resale with a salvage title. |

I've seen cars more fucked up sell on copart for $1200-1700 tho. But I've also seen em sell for 4000. Got the $, time, resources, part out. You could part it out and the get another one or fix it and make it even better.. but that looks like a costly job, and you would need a good body shop to fix it right.. since you didn't have the car that long it won't feel different if you fixed it up and drive it again cause you never got a feel for the car.. it all depends on how much it costs to fix.. stuspeed6 likes this. |

Hi, I have a 06 speed6 bought new, I had a Celica All Trac turbo, mint, PART IT OUT, my alltrac was totaled too, Parted it out did quite well with it and it help keep several all tracs on the road with transplanted parts.. by the way my speed6 is WAY better than that all trac! Speed6's are incredibly RARE, I also have an 07 GT3 bought new too, I got to tell ya. the Mazda is one incredibly well built car. |
