What to part out?

Car blew up. Parting out now. What is worth anything besides the mods I already had on the engine? Car was 2006 speed6 grandtouring. Is there anything that's actually worth selling? I've had some guys ask me about the powersteering pump and a/c compressor. I was thinking fuel rail,turbo, throttle body, fuel pump and maybe the manifolds. What am I missing? Are there any bizarre or hard to find parts worth some change?

Pretty much every part can be worth some change. Might just be worth it though to sell it as a roller to someone who wants to drop a motor in it.

I'm in North jersey, ways away from South Carolina. I posted it on CL as a roller too. I got an offer for a grand for everything. No way I could do that. I had a whole mess of corksport stuff including turbo with 6k miles on them. If he didn't want the mods then maybe. ZZB Heads won't go for much right? It doesn't look too bad. A few nicks but cylinder 4 would need new valves.

Max 21psi on corksport turbo , 3 port boost controller, race pipe, internals, jbr Sri, Cobb AP. Weird thing is it actually happened going up a hill in 5th, 4k rpms at 10psi. Wristpin let go, the piston was destroyed.

Will at PDTuning, I honestly don't think it was the tune. Previous owner must have abused it.

Nah, not the tune, Will knows what he's doing. Yeah, that's the unfortunate part about these cars now. While extremely fun (and much cheaper now), previous owners who don't know what they are doing, can mess it up quite easily.

I was thinking about BNR s4.....but corksport turbo would do the job. Also would need boost controller and possibly that cs bpv.

I got monies. Mileage on the turbo?

Also, I think you would need more posts to post in the FS but I would be game.

All parts are worth something. Just check on ebay, see if it's worth it to you to sell it.

You will easily make more money parting out, instead of selling it as a roller, almost guaranteed.

Once you've gone past the point of no return, those advance keys will sell pretty quick.
