Default 2009 MS3s still have WGDC drop over 80% Injector Duty

This issue was resolved in the other year speeds (MS3 and MS6) by toggling the boost based tuning checkbox to ON.

In the 2009 MS3s toggling the boost based tuning does not resolve this issue and WGDC still drops when injector duty exceeds 80%.

@David@COBB, there was probably some omission in the 2009 MS3 ATR release. Can you please double check?

Thank you!

What type of calculated loads is it experiencing near the 80% IDC? Is this 93 or E85?

He is around 2 - 2.1 load when he first hits 80% IDC. This is on E85, but a mild mix 3/9. I've done several similar tunes and the Boost Tune toggle addressed the issue in other model years.

Turn off all the WGDC compensations to force it to run your commanded WGDC (I would lower the WGDC a bit across the board when doing this). See if it pulls it then. We might be running into a safety case of sorts like I had in a previous thread - "Tales of the ECU".

I really dislike running just from the table - that's basically a fancy manual boost controller.

This was resolved like I said before - very similar scenario - in the other speed years by toggling the boost tune toggle and changing NOTHING else. Is it possible something was omitted for the less common 09 speeds?

I can check tomorrow, but I don't believe it is any different from the previous years logically. What may be problematic is that they may have changed a limit or calibration of something that year only.

any updates on this david?

i'm currently sitting at ~75% IDC and am going to be upping the ratio of e85/93 from 3/9 to 5/7 so i'll probably have this problem arise seeing as i've got an 09.

thanks
