(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Why don't you guys add an auto off feature for the AP? I got the nice loading gears burnt to my AP screen...

| Not Ranked : 0 score yeah i've got the same but it was bought like that. would've been nice to mention it before selling it to me. i contacted cobb like five times trying to figure out how much it would cost to get the screen fixed but they never got back to me. don't much care anymore since it only comes out of the box for flashes.

| Not Ranked : 0 score That really would be the best course of action... that's what I do anyway when I park for longer than 15 minutes.

| Not Ranked : 0 score Hey guys, when we did our polling last year, one of the biggest things that you all wanted was a power switch. However, we are limited by our current hardware configuration at this time. We realize that many of you would love to have an option for a "power" switch and we are looking into this as a future option. That said, it is merely a discussion at this point, we have no current plans to offer a cable or AP unit with a power on/off switch. That said, if you do experience burn-in on your screen, please give us a call at 1-866-922-3059 and we can get that repaired for you. The other option is to simply unplug the unit when not in use. This is a little more involve than a switch, but it will certainly help save the screen. We also have a screen saver option now which should help if you have hardwired the unit. - Travis

| Not Ranked : 0 score Yeah, Mine is burnt with the gears as well..... if you made it so it could stay plugged in and with an auto-off, you could even add a turbo timer feature... AND if you really wanted to make a futuristic move, you could start selling a bluetooth dongle and make the accessport program an app for android/iphone!!! just sayin..... sampling rates would then depend on the phone though, but i'm sure my phone has a bigger processer than the AP LOL |

| Not Ranked : 0 score The burn in doesn't affect my ability to read what's on the screen so NCE.

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score My access port screen is like a 1" $500 old school plasma TV. I can still read mine but it's annoying...
