(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score All is well and working. However I have some questions/concerns. 1.) I looked in the load tables and in all the tables relating to traction control, I see that they are just copies of the other tables. IE table a, b and c are identical. Do the 2.x maps have traction control? I know most people turn it off and I can see the benefits of that, but in the winter its nice to have. I would think maybe 2 maps? One for traction control, one for not. 2.) because of the boost based tuning, is there no longer any way to make per gear based tuning? Not a huge deal with awd, but the MS3 guys must want it? I also like to put a bit less load on 6th gear. 3.) I see TONS more load in all the load tables. Like 3.0 or more. The old tables were 1.8-2.2 tops. Is this just how it does it in the new boost based logic? Just large numbers on the load tables and then use the boost tables to regulate boost? With this, if the boost box gets unchecked, is the ECU going to try to target the 3.0 load targets? 4.)with the closed loop tables, I see that they are mostly just flat, IE stay in closed loop to 1.0 load in all 5 of those tables. Is this to combat the stuttering? Are there any negative effects of this? 5.) I notice that in Stage 2 maps it requires an upgraded CDFP. Now, if you already have an upgraded CDFP, but no exhaust mods, is there something that should be changed in the stage 1 maps to compensate? Should there be a map that has tables for the upgraded pump along with the intake parts etc? I won't be doing any exhaust work any time soon, but I have a pump upgrade. 6.) I notice the fuelling tables are MUCH more sane, much more like I would make them(I am sure many others too). No more 8.XX and 9.XX, or even 10.XX:1 fuel cells. Very nice. Just a shout out to the guys at Cobb and the beta testers for getting it all done, along with maps for all the other guys intake systems.

| Not Ranked : 0 score I cant believe no one answered this. I just recently used the V2 map as a base for my BNR tuning and I can answer some of these. 1. Traction control does still work, same as before 2. You can change the boost compensation per gear if you like more power in one gear 3. The load are higher just to make sure the ecu doesn't hit them and stick with the boost based logic. Yes, if you uncheck the boost based box it will TRY to hit the loads but will hit the fuel cut, boost cut, throttle close etc before it gets anywhere near the 3.0-5.0 it's targeting. 4. I have no idea about the 1.0 load in the closed loop tables my old tune was about the same load to go OL. From what I understand the studdering after shifting was fixed by adding fuel and changing the timing when the clutch is depressed or out. Seeing that they studdering was when driving hard I would doubt the CL tables have anything to do with it. 5. They recc the exhaust upgrades on stage 2 because it targets higher boost. You need the free flowing exhaust to keep the turbo happy. If you don't have the upgrades then I would stick with a stage 1 map. You could raise the FP in ATR to like 1750 on your stage 1 map if you like but you won't really get anything from it. If you want to do that check out Abilors Tooning guide it'll tell you how.
