(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score We have just released significant updates to the AccessPORT firmware and AccessTUNER software for the first gen MAZDASPEED3 and MAZDASPEED6. AccessPORT enhancements include improved usability with four higher precision data monitors, a simplified menu system and support for higher boost pressure data logging. AccessTUNER software improvements include a large selection of new tables, two important bug fixes and the addition of software auto-updating to simplify future software upgrades. These new additions continue to expand AccessPORT control of the ECU, letting users dig deeper into the OEM logic to extract even more power from the MAZDASPEED3/6, with unmatched simplicity, functionality, convenience and control! AccessPORT Firmware The latest firmware update (version 1.6.3.2) is currently beta. The full release of this firmware will include map support for included Off The Shelf Maps and will be available soon. The changes in this beta firmware version include:
AccessTUNER Software The latest AccessTUNER software update (version 1.8.6.0) has significant enhancements that not only give unprecedented control of the stock ECU, but also make it more convenient to update!
Acquiring Updates To get the latest AccessPORT firmware update, simply plug your AccessPORT into your computer via the USB cable, open AP Manager 2.0, click on the Options icon in the top icon bar and make sure that Check For Beta Firmware is checked in the Updates section. Then click on the Updates button in the top icon bar and click the Begin Firmware Update button. If you do not yet have AP Manager 2.0, follow this link to download for your operating system. To get the latest AccessTUNER Race software update, please fill out the AccessTUNER Race Request Form page. With the new Auto Update feature, this should be the last time you will need to fill out this request form. You will receive an email that contains your software download link within 24 hours. Please be sure to check your spam/junk folders if you do not see the email in your inbox.

| Not Ranked : 0 score Great News ! I noticed on the 07-09 Maps for MS3 ( cobb . MAZDASPEED3 accessport . map listing ) the link for AP Manager Software doesn't point to the 2.0 Manager Page ( CobbTuning.com - Support ) Looks like the EXE there is an old version of AP Manager and Updater. |

| Some users have reported issues installing the latest BETA version of AccessTUNER Race. We have identified a bug in our installer. The temporary work around is the following: 1) Uninstall AP 2) Update AP Firmware (this firmware is BETA, you must select update to BETA firmware if you wish to use this update) 3) Install new AccessTUNER RACE 4) Use new ATR to open and re-save any maps you plan to flash to ECU. This puts the new code into the map file.* 5) Install AP to ECU. This puts the new code onto the ECU. We are currently working on a fix for this bug. This bug is not known to interfere with AccessPORT operation and only affects installation of the new software. Once the new software is installed, simply reinstall your updated AccessPORT and load your updated calibrations. *All calibrations MUST BE UPDATED if you update your AccessPORT to take advantage of the new boost logging change, otherwise boost will not display correctly. Note: The boost logging change is backwards compatible, meaning if you use older AccessPORT firmware/AccessTUNER Race software to log boost when using a new map it will work. The Dashhawk will still work as well. However, if you update the AccesPORT Firmware, you MUST update your map and flash it to the ECU.
