(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score So been having this issue with my AP V3, with the bottom of the unit having white lines across it. I have tried to power it off, on, unplugging it, letting it sit for a bit...but it seems like the lines are still there. Called in and spoke to a guy named Tim, seemed like he didn't really give a shit about what I was going through, or that I was in the middle of a tune and needed the unit. Asked if there was anything Cobb could do to help out to get this done quickly, the dude didn't really care. Hoping that some forum response would actually help a bit more, then speaking to Tim. Attached pics so you can see what I am talking about.

| Not Ranked : 0 score Tim is probably thinking, "at least yours works, I have a pile of dead units to deal with..." Good luck getting this fixed, nothing worse spoiling yourself with something that gives you stress....

| Not Ranked : 0 score What are you going through? The unit still installs and monitors right? I don't see the problem. Uninstall and send it back for a new one Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using Tapatalk 4 |

But more importantly there was not sense of care of helping me out. I been seeing other members get overnight shipping or whatever and that was an option not given to me when that's been something they have been offering to other members. Honestly I get peeved when theres lack of standard or customer service from a company that you shell out half a grand to. I even asked if it was going to be on my dime to send and receive and the answer was yes. So that's a bit more of a piss off. Personally I just think the dude on the phone couldn't give two shits and was just probably spitting out answers to just get me off the phone.

| Not Ranked : 0 score I can understand you being frustrated. What is it that you want done. No company will send you another unit without you sending the other one back. There is a good possibility that you may never return the defective unit. So that option is out. I manage the warranty department at a car audio manufacturer. People try this all the time. It is not personal, its just business. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using Tapatalk 4 |

| Not Ranked : 0 score It looks like it would be a software issue. Did you try updating to the latest firmware? I know others have had their units crash after updating their firmware. I would at least get your tune finished and then update the firmware. That way you're not stuck with a crashed AP in the middle of your tune.

| Not Ranked : 0 score It's never any fun feeling like the support rep doesn't care about your situation, that's all I can think about any time I have to call Time Warner for help! We try to provide case-by-case support as we understand every situation is different, but I can see how that can feel inconsistent. Your screen definitely shouldn't be doing that, so please email me your full name, phone number, and purchase information, and I will make sure we get you taken care of properly.
