What is AP Activate?

The latest firmware update (1.7.1.1-8400) only has one change listed.

Added AP Activate Compatibility.

"AP Activate is something that is used by our pro-tuners that are not able to stock all part numbers on their shelves. It gives them the ability to turn a generic blank Accessport into one that is compatible with a desired vehicle.

Really? You mean to tell me with the list of things said to be coming soon in the AP, you aren't the least bit interested in them getting released? Hell, I'm interested in the RPM scaling just so I can see what people can do with it.
