| Not Ranked : 0 score As a few others have mentioned, A way to either utilize the mini USB port on the AP to plug in a "gauge" type device to allow us to see more than one parameter at a time, or even just directly into ODB-II if you can't do it off the USB. I'm sure a competitively priced Fuel pump/ internals would be great too. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score Why do we need them to make fp internals, we have two companies (kmds, autotech) that make quality parts that are doing well in our pumps. And for all the fags saying lips, spoilers, and other stuff like that, yyou need to look at the type products Cobb offers.

| Not Ranked : 0 score You're seriously bashing competition? The more quality parts there are out there competing against one another, they cheaper they will get, and the more us consumers get for our hard earned money. How is that not good?

| Not Ranked : 0 score With all the respect I don't think it's a good idea for Cobb to jump into the fuel pump segment. They'll have very few margin if they try internals just because there is very less money to be made here (to be clear with internals and not FP) with respect to the investment and manufacturing costs. On the top of that there are some risks that competitor may drop their prices too, just to make it much harder for them to establish them self in that segment. However, there is a market segment Cobb can expand further more and lock that segment for himself: AP. Who said Access Port? I'm not sure if everyone noticed it, but currently, tuners messing a lot with their car are suffering from a monitoring solution that could display several parameters on the fly. You can re-flash using Cobb AP but when it comes down to monitor your car (on the fly) your hands are bind to just one parameter at the time. Cobb needs to pursuit the perfection with his AP product line. It should not be too much difficult for them to display 4- 6- 8 parameters on the fly with an AP. They'll just have to work on a bigger display. I think this goal is easily reachable for them than a new venture in the HPFP segment. I also think this will open up an incredible market segment for this company. Also we have to admit that as a user, I will like to have just 1 device to tune, monitor my car (on the fly as well), ALL TOGETHER IN ONE DEVICE. Such a move will probably make the competition in the gauges business close their door and Cobb can secure a good portion of that segment. Now regarding what We'll like Cobb to do for our platform, the list is so long I don't know where to start. FMIC (with a much bigger core) HPFP, internals, injector seals, short shifts, F/R sways bars, springs, coilovers, Motor mounts, etc, etc, etc. I can go on and on. But at the end of the day, Cobb needs to move the AP enhancement to the next level and therefore secure the monitoring-tuning device/solution segment.

| Not Ranked : 0 score Fuel injectors! Fuel injectors! Fuel injectors! Screw re inventing the wheel. Dont flood the market with a product where there are already appropriate substitutes at a feasible price point! That is just wasted R&D in my opinion. COBB has the ability and resources to be innovators so why not be one? If you really want to help the community out, bring things to the community that have higher barriers for market entry, such as fuel injectors or an intake manifold, pressure relief, cams etc. I personally would love to see fuel injectors as if i have not made that clear.

Realistically I'd vote: 1. Bring back the items you already had. Assuming they sold well enough, all they have to do is put them back into manufacturing. I'm talking about the sway bars, springs, cbe, etc.. 2. Engine motor mounts. Alot floating around but no one has really stuck them yet (might change with JBR). 3. An AP with monitoring capabilities similar to the dashhawk or dashdaq. This would be tricky though. I'm not sure I could see myself shelling out $1000 for an AP v3 with these functions. Maybe you keep the current form factor and strip it down to portable flash tool/obd2 diagnostic only so its cheaper, then move all the logging/display to a new dashhawk/dashdaq type monitoring guage product. $300 for the ecu flasher and $400 for the gauge thing or something like that. Or just have it as one unit and use the same price as the AP now if possible. 4. If you do end up doing manifolds, maybe work with a turbo manufacturer to do staged turbo kits. | |

| Not Ranked : 0 score + For the AP engineering. It just seems COBB has only touched the seems of this device. Lots more they can do with it as bertrand said. The DashHawk was a nice small size and it monitored multiple specs. Now only if COBB was to do something like that with the AP I would like to see some of the suspension to come back out. Specially with the Gen2 sway bars. But any of the suspension work for Gen1 & 2's ++++ for FMIC for Gen2

We need some type of fueling solution right now everyone is stuck on not having enough fuel.(stock turbo guys have all the parts they need imo to max the k04) A fueling solution is a MUST to make this platform even better then it already is.... aka Injectors. Injectors Injectors Injectors Injectors Injectors Injectors Injectors Injectors. Everything in this thread is already being made by another company, I believe injectors would be wonderful for this platform and take it to new heights!
