this way you don't need to recreate the form factor which is 1/2 of the battle so not a hard part as such but would be very cool

| Not Ranked : 0 score haha yes they put out a survey last fall about what we would want to see with a new AP like multi display dash board, larger form factor, multiple alarms, etc. I just thought it would be easier to either port the existing software over or rewrite for a hardware platform that is already developed and proven such as the Andriod and iOSes. There are other tuning solutions that have already done this so its not out of the question. Other hardware vendors already have wired and wireless ODBII connectors for the major mobile platforms so that wouldn't need to be developed either...just tested. iTSX iPhone / iPad Ford Programmer / Tuner, SCT Flash, SCT-iTSX-4015 - Tuner Tools, the inside line http://tunertools.com/proddetail.asp?prod=ST%2D425103 anyway I would rather see further table development over a new form factor.

If you want injectors I would go straight to Deatschwerks directly and see if they will help out. I really like the mobile AP app for iphone/android though....just be aware its going to take additional development time for android phones due to the wide range of screen sizes. | |

Everyone wants more power, already got a big turbo and running out of stuff to do, add another turbo. Just a different idea instead of repeating everyone else's. But I like the AP ideas, I'll second those. |

But I dunno about you, I don't trust any phone OS enough to handle reflashing the ECU in my car 100's of times. Between Android and IOS, I get enough random locks or reboots enough that I would NEVER flash from a phone. Once might work great, but considering how many reflashes it takes to get a tune spot on...no way.

| Not Ranked : 0 score I do see your point and don't pretend to know how Cobb performs its flashing but if its like any other flash in the computer industry they upload the code to a temp location in the ECU, run a checksum on the uploaded code to make sure it matches then execute the flash from the ECU. IMO, there is really no more of a chance of bricking an ECU this way. In-fact flashing with the AP has had its troubles in the past albeit I doubt it was the flash process itself but rather the mismatched AP firmware and maps within that bricked the very few that failed. anyway I doubt it will happen and I hope Cobb will develop a new form factor if not but as I stated before the hardware is probably more than 1/2 the battle esp if you are talking touch screen. damn am I still typing?.....sorry

I'd also say injectors, but I agree that having never done something like that in the past we'd likely get a partnering if they go that route, but if it's a quality product I don't think anyone will complain. Behind that I'd say both manifolds also.

| Not Ranked : 0 score Our market for Injectors is not as small as you think. GDI is the manufactures are going so getting a jump on te technology could be a good long term investment. Obviously them making them in house would be a little over the top, but partnering with a company to develope them is a much more fiscally sound idea.

| Not Ranked : 0 score If the COBB AP could resemble the look of an Ipod touch or any smart phone out there (android)... IT WOULD KICK ASS!!! Imagine having a AP that you actually want to install on your dash as a monitor/gauge. Or even better yet! Making an APP (application) for android/iphone smartphones and just sell an OBD2/usb cable to hook up. Cobb AP becomes Cobb APP I'd be all over that.... Imagine having your tune, and your tunes (music) + having a beautiful looking device that has customable gauges and datalogging tools.... Please... make that.... OMG the sweetness... just thinking this could be possible!!! |

| Not Ranked : 0 score A fuel pump, seeing as you require one for your stage 2 tunes. A drop in pump would be nice as there are enough options for internals (and I dont want to mess around with installing them, I'd prob fuck up anyway) and I refuse to buy anything c-pe. Bring back your cbe. Like its been said before all the other options are too loud and ricey sounding. We need a quality TMIC too. I'm not impressed with the current offerings. Update Accessport for reasons mentioned in previous posts. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score Figure out the SWAS system tables and then.... Look into low boost/high boost using the DSC button (map switching) to toggle between the two. Just a thought.

| Not Ranked : 0 score My vote is on: 1) Intake Manifold 2) Turbo Manifold (flange option: stock, T3 and T4..if possible one that could be interchanged between these 3) 3) Fuel Pumps: CDFP (options: internals for the DIY people or full pump for the not mechanically oriented folks). In line (Walbro 255lph kit) 4) Larger Injectors 5) Downpipes for BT (T3 and T4 turbo, VBand) and screamer pipe

| Not Ranked : 0 score I would like to see a CBE and a fuel pump. Suspension components would be great as well, cages and springs. I like cobb products for the quality and if i had the option, I would make every single upgrade through cobb. They're the only company that I trust to offer quality opinions and products / installation guides / installation prerequisites for these vehicles. My goal is to gracefully upgrade my ms3 and not make "ricer" upgrades that work for 10 weeks and damage / immobilize the car to the point where you were happier when it was stock. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score Definitely some MS6 love. I'd like to see a catback (quieter version) and a set of coilovers specifically designed for the speeds and not just the mazda 6.

| Not Ranked : 0 score All great ideas, guys. We appreciate all the feedback. I guess it's good to see that many of the things mentioned here are already in the works. Good to know that we're pretty aligned with the way our customers are thinking on this platform. I'd love to tell everyone exactly what can be expected in the near future but it turns into a waiting game and then if things get delayed then it's "when is it gunna come?", "how much longer?" etc. We have internal goals and we're pretty dang good at hitting them. For me, personally. I'd like to offer full Big Turbo kits. Inlet, Turbo (multiple options), manifold, dp. Since I own an MS3, and I'm a hard parts engineer here, it would be really fun to get to experiment with all sorts of options on my car. I will say that there are several parts coming out in the future, some a lot sooner than others. Some are brand spankin new, some a revised versions of previously discontinued parts. All in all, this platform is very much alive and kicking and we're really excited to keep pushing the limits as far as hard parts AND tuning goes. As of today, there is a huge AP update for all Mazdaspeed owners plus full 2012 support! Keep the feedback coming guys.
