What model AP is update-able for 2010 Mazdaspeed 3?

I'm having trouble finding the answer to this, and Cobb's website seems to be down.

I know there is certain model APs that are able to have the 2010 software downloaded to it and it will work.


Are there some older models that DO NOT work with a genpu?

What model numbers do work? Or what are the differences look wise?

Yes sir. afaik, you want the ap-maz-002 for any mazdaspeed3.

The difference in the verions has to do with the cable that connects to the pc..

iirc, the latest version is v2b

So let me ask you this...if someone bought an AP in 2007, and it's model # ap-maz-002, would it work with my Gen 2?

YES...

As long as it is ap-maz-oo2 it will work...

All MAZDASPEED vehicles share a single AP part number, AP-MAZ-002. There is no need to "update" the unit to get it to work on one car or another, it will automatically identify which vehicle you have. However, do make sure you are up to date on the latest firmware!
