Default GOT ME A 2016 MX-5
So I got a little carried away and impulse reserved a 2016 Mazda MX-5..... went through the process for a Manual Transmission one and hit "reserve".... screen loaded and said "success". Then I read the details.... supposedly I reserved an auto transmission.... well that was not the plan.

If it ends up being auto I might just sell the reservation to someone else. Now I just get to figure out how to pay for the Manual Transmission.

Anyone else get in on the pre-order reservation?

why not just get in touch with Mazda and make sure your reservation is for a manual?

I called the dealership, they called Mazda for me and then called me back. Said that Mazda messed up and sold people autos after the manuals sold out instead.....

Then I called Mazda, Mazda told me if I ordered Manual that I get a manual, that their site was messed up and just told everyone auto.

So I have two different opinions.

I'll wait and see.

I kinda want the club also, but I also wanna be first. Lol.

I don't see Mazda saying screw you, but I could see them saying "ya... so we messed up and accidentally sold more manuals than we have shipping, so you get one, but not till September."

I received an email last night correcting the order confirmation and saying I am getting a MT, hooray!

I really want a club version as well with the goodies to go run on the track. I may trade this one in at some point to get the color/options i want.

We should be testing out a few varieties of exhaust in 2 weeks. We had the car on the dyno to get our baselines as well for intake testing. Spring testing will be in the works in the next few weeks as well. We are going to offer a street spring and a set of track oriented versions as well.
