Default New headlights, driver's side dimmer

Hello everyone! Hope you are having a great weekend.

I have successfully replaced our Mazda CX-7 headlights (low) several times with no problems. Wifey came home a few days ago and stated that neither headlights were working (we had not driven it at night for a while). I bought a pair of "Philips H7 CrystalVision Ultra" bulbs and put those in. Well, right away I noticed that the drivers side was dimmer than the passenger's side. To troubleshoot, I took out both bulbs and reversed the bulbs. Again, the drivers side is dimmer (telling it it may not be a bulb problem). I have tried properly realigning to no avail. Any advice highly appreciated.
