Default P303 and p2187 after top end work
hey everybody this is my first post this website has been awesome with helping my top end work on my cx7 I recently have replaced timing chain ,exhaust valves on cylinder 4, injector seals and head gasket. Its a 07 cx7 2.3 turbo when I first got it together a couple days ago it ran like a scalded dog. Then I started getting p300 or a p303 and p2187.I had to fix the p2006 and p2009 code by rigging up the sensor for the vtcs but got that handled. But still have the random misfire code and a p2187 car idles kinda normal after warm up and runs decent but not as strong as it did when I first got it together

Update... I believe its a pcv problem ill be taking the intake back off to check it

Replaced pcv still same problem car seems to run fine may be a taf sluggish at time Idk where to start. A reply would be nice

No thanks indeed. Seems everyone was too busy working on their own cars or "gasp" living their life on a weekend to come on here and feed you a reply.

Glad you got it sorted. When the plugs are gapped too wide you get spark blowout. Which you now know. Is that a good reply to atone for our lack of reply previously?

I should note that the OP didn't even read the Welcome PM...or at least didn't follow the instructions.

I should also note that the solution to his problem had nothing to do with the details in the original post. While not unlikely, it would have taken a lot of back and forth before it got to checking something as basic as spark plug gaps.
