I hate to poop in a vendor subforum, but these guys haven't responded in forever and most of their links don't work. They aren't releasing firmware updates to beat the new LIDAR algorithms either.

Do yourself a favor and contact laser interceptor USA if you want a functional jammer and support.

If these guys aren't active I'd personally close the thread. I'll let @Raider; or @Haltech; determine that though.

The ALP is the best on the market - punch through tests vs the Dragon Eye prove it. Even with the limited distribution of these "random" pulse generating guns, the response will buy you ~1500ft to slow down before a reading is obtained. In some cases you can still get a jam-to-gun vs ECCM. The bulk of lidar guns are virtually useless vs any decent jammer setup, whether it's Blinder, LI (now an Escort product) or the ALP.

Curious, are you saying it's not worth purchasing laser jammers as a whole? Maybe I am reading your reply incorrectly.

Not at all - I'm saying they are very effective against the vast majority of guns in service. It's just the random algorithm Dragon Eye guns that only a few locations have - they beat laser jammers including the ALP, but the ALP will give you the best chance against it by far. I'm citing this information from radarguys independent testing that was performed last month.

My laser jammer has paid for itself (LI 8.9) and I recommend a setup to anyone that frequents the highway or has a high concentration of lidar law enforcement in their area.
