Laser Jammer Laws

Laser is regulated by the FDA and currently there are no federal laws prohibiting the use of laser jamming equipment to jam police radar for passenger vehicles.
However some states have enacted their own laws and are illegal in the following states: South Carolina, Nebraska, Minnesota, Utah, California, Oklahoma, Virginia, Colorado, Illinois and Washington DC.

Most states that have laws against Laser Jaming the penalties are minor. You should check the laws in your state to be sure.

If used properly the Blinder Xtreme Laser Jammer is undetectable and I personally have never had a customer have any issue with using the Blinder Xtreme Jammer.

What I mean by using right is: Get hit with Laser and you get the alert. Slow down and kill the jammer so the officer gets a speed and never gets a clue.

Follow this link to see all states that have laws. http://www.blinderxtremeforum.com/se...mmer-laws-131/

Here is the thing guys.

You just have to be smart about it.
Whether you live in a legal state or not.

1) Stealth the car. Position the heads for best protection of the car, lights and license plate.
2) Be smart. If Blinder warns you, slow down and then turn the Blinder off. This allows the officer to get a legal speed reading, he will be happy and have no reason to come after you.
3) Dont go trolling for cops shooting laser it will get tested soon enough. You can test detection with a TV remote. If you want to test jamming find a local with a Lidar gun..... yes there are hobbyists.
4) If pulled over and asked about the heads, it IS a PARKING SENSOR so your wife/GF doesnt hit stuff when parking your car AGAIN  ........ got it?

I believe the fine here in CO is pretty hefty.

If you can find the law please post a link.

Freefly, good tip about the parking sensor excuse. I like your setup but would prefer one even more hidden. I have seen some add ons that will hide the heads when off and lower them back into position when on.

EDIT: Are they also actually parking sensors?!?!? I thought that was just a good plausible excuse, but maybe not?

Colorado Laser Jammer Laws - Guys of LIDAR

So first off, they can confiscate it, costing you whatever you paid for it right there. The fines used to run from $10 to $300 for misdemeanor traffic violations here, but Gov Ritter double and tripled all of them in order to raise revenue a couple years back, so it's more now.

Incorrect.
The newest version now being sold by Blinder Man DOES function as a parking sensor.

The older "Laser Pro Park" has always been able to double as a parking sensor, and the newer stuff Blinder GUy is selling will too.
