| Not Ranked : 0 score One thing to note is that the FAV's on these are limited to 1500cc/min so good enough for 500-550whp. i use 2 1.2mm nozzles on my hfs-3 kit, and i'm at 100% idc w/ 500whp. @EdgeAutosport.com; are you guys setting up the boards or is this something that Rich @ Aquamist or Jeff @ Howerton is doing. Only reason i ask is because of the different flow mappings on the controller. When i first bought my kit it was setup on the highest flow map for 2 nozzles and i did not know it. I tried to use one .8mm nozzle and the system just kept tripping the fail safe. 2011silverspeed likes this.

At this point we are not doing anything to the boards. The kit does come with instructions for cutting and soldering to run with the DI fuel systems as well as changing the flow maps to run anywhere from 1 to 5 injectors. Here are some pictures to help illustrate what has to be done to run this kit on the MS3/6. Default configuration: This is how the board comes (here I have it removed from its little housing). These six pads represent different gains used depending on your fuel system. The default setup is for port injection as you can see the 1.0x gain pads are connected and in use. DI Configuration: In order to run this kit properly with a DI fuel system (such as with a MS3 or MS6), you will need to cut the link between the 1.0x pads and solder a link between the 2.5x pads shown above. This will change the configuration so that it works with the DI fuel system. Flow Configuration: To adjust the flow for different jet configurations, you must modify this part of the board. The default configuration is to run two jets. In order to run 1 jet, you must solder a link between pad 1 and pad 2. To run 3 or more jets, you must solder a link between pad 2 and pad 3. All of this is outlined in the user manual with pictures and diagrams. If you have any questions, feel free to ask us and we'll be happy to help! | |
