Hey everyone! A group buy for the ARK Performance Gen2 cat-back exhausts is now in order! We really believe these are awesome exhausts and we want to get more out on the market to help people understand how nice they are. A few things I'd like to point out.

My wife has this exhaust on her car...sounds really good and it did improve response. I had an ARK Prototype II on my 370Z and it was hands down the best sounding exhaust out there.

While expensive, this is a very well made exhaust and the sound is very nice. If my GT500 didn't sound so damn good stock I'd contact the ARK people for an exhaust but, I am lucky that the stock exhaust sounds damn good.

SURE had this on their shop car and iirc, the tips stuck out from the bumper at different lengths but it sounded good. Not sure if Ark addressed the tip issue since then tho

First picture is my car actually when I got it installed at their facility in Chino CA. With stock DP and 2nd Cat, car sounded nice but not loud at all, especially in the high rev areas. With my long catted DP now, my friends can hear me coming from a mile away, so yes, its loud, not as loud as the corksport or ultimate, but close

could be angle but that left tip def looks like it sits out further and I believe thats the one that sat out more on sures car

hmm... maybe.. also, that time... I had my DP and TP installed also, the exhaust actually moved a lil bit due to the mounting of the DP/TP

Are you sure they had it on their car? This is a really new product. When was that?

Yeah, Im positive. 6 months ago maybe? I remember the funky looking mufflers and that the tips werent equal length.

This exhaust wasn't out 6 months ago. I think it was different. Also, if you look at the top pic, the right side is sticking out further. I think it's just a matter of getting it to sit right on the hangers and position it right.

The left looks longer to me but all I know is that this exhaust was on SUREs car without a doubt. I cant remember how long ago it was but ARK approached them about selling it which was a while ago. Same name, funky mufflers, longer and burnt tips and all.

slightly adjusting the hangers with a little persuasion and your golden.

it sits out there quite a bit so much it was an eyesore

I know both cars... Top one is a member on one of the forums I'm in and the bottom.. well its me.. lol

its really how you mount it and how the DP/TP mounted too.. for some reason it does matter.

that picture of my car is actually has a pre-production exhaust and they did fix it.

very small cut rebend hanger on exhaust or on car, adjust both hangers if needed, cut and reweld hangers.

there is a ton of easy shit to do.

but how does that adjust the length of one side enough to make them even? the axleback is one piece. I guess Im not comprehending how that will fix it. that tip sits out quite a bit more than the other. seeing it in person I just dont see how this design flaw can be fixed by adjusting hangers.

FWIW.... my CS CBE stuck out a little more on the left. Bent the hanger arm slighty and problem was solved.

God damn this is tempting. I really like these exhaust systems, even if they are pricey. ARK has always made top notch products.
