Change of Contact Effective Dec 1st 2012

Hey guys and gals of MSF, I want to say thank you for being such a great community to be a part of. I just want to let you guys know that I will no longer be your main contact @EdgeAutosport starting January 1st. The reason for my departure from Edge is because I received an offer to return to school on a full ride golf scholarship and I could not pass that up.

The main reason of this thread is to make the transition of the forum contact easier for when I am no longer here at the beginning of the year. When the new contact becomes available we will post up more details.

Let me know if you guys have any questions and I will be here over the holidays to get you guys some great go fast parts!

Again, I would like to thank everyone and all the friends I have made. I want to thank JP and the opportunity he gave me to work for him at Edge, he is a stand up guy and runs a stand up operation. I do not have any intentions of leaving MSF or the mazdaspeed scene so the burn victim will return!

In all seriousness, I would personally like to thank Eric for everything he has done for the company. He was the first person on board and had a significant impact on our growth and early success. He made many sacrifices to come here including moving twice in two different states as a result of my own personal circumstances while the company was getting started. It's been great having him here and we're going to miss him for sure. Like he said, it's going to be a slow and smooth transition but nothing comes before you guys and we will make sure that nothing here changes. Your experience is our #1 priority and we will continue to keep that mentality.

Thanks again for EVERYTHING Eric and I wish you the BEST of luck with all the opportunities that come your way.

Nice man! Congratulations! Where you going to school? As of November 1 I am no longer affiliated with the PGA of America and as of Monday no longer employed as a golf professional. I'm looking to go back to school to finish off my bachelors and play golf while I'm at it.

On a side note getting your am status back is a huge pain in the ass. You have to apply and not play any tournaments for two years so if you wanted to play college golf your screwed.

I got my amateur status back on November 1. I've already been through that shit. I was on level 2, not a class A yet and didn't play for prize money very often so it only took me a year. The last tournament I played in as a professional was the Firestone Cup at Firestone Country Club last October. I made the decision to get out of the business not too long after that tournament. Since then I have only been working as a golf professional and was not involved with the PGA in anyway...

Yeah getting the am status back is a PITA although i've never gone through it. One day I will be willing to give it up but first I will finish school and go from there
