Congrats Eric if your in socal hit me up I will wo you how to really play. I had a full ride also but turned pro after my freshman year since I realized how much I hated school. If you need anything I have book ups all over the golf industry.

On a side note getting your am status back is a huge pain in the ass. You have to apply and not play any tournaments for two years so if you wanted to play college golf your screwed.

I got my amateur status back on November 1. I've already been through that shit. I was on level 2, not a class A yet and didn't play for prize money very often so it only took me a year. The last tournament I played in as a professional was the Firestone Cup at Firestone Country Club last October. I made the decision to get out of the business not too long after that tournament. Since then I have only been working as a golf professional and was not involved with the PGA in anyway...

Yeah getting the am status back is a PITA although i've never gone through it. One day I will be willing to give it up but first I will finish school and go from there
