It's a possibility. Some cars react different than others. But you should be fine with this mod. If you have an AP, which I know you do you can eliminate the CEL anyway.

This is true. Im tempted, but maybe after winter. I've heard mixed stories on the difficulty on install, so I'm on the fence about that. Besides, im gonna need new tires and some koni yellows before downpipe!

Just any positive or negative reviews, how the quality is because a friend of mine has one on his car that was wrecked and I was going to order the other parts of the kit from you guys if the valve is still ok if not ill get the whole kit. I was something different than hks or ts, if the quality is good and its worth it.

I haven't had any personal experiences with the TiAL BOVs but TiAL and CPE are A+ for quality. I don't think you can go wrong here. You just need to make sure you have the right spring pressure inside the valve so you're not leaking boost. I would assume CPE has determined the right spring pressure and used that or that the TiAL comes with all the springs but I'd ask CPE to be certain.

Other than that the quality is there. Besides, I don't think there are any other TiAL flange adapter options for this car besides CPE unless you looked at the 08+ WRX flange adapters. One of those would most likely work. They are the same factory BOV flange.

I'm seriously considering getting a downpipe, but I'm worried about my turbro smoking. I'm leaning towards a catted downpipe, because i've heard the increased back pressure helps aid oil from leaking through the turbo seals, but i'm still not 100%. My idle is also at 1000, but even then, im not sure. Could you give me some insight ?

It seems to be hit or miss whether or not turbo seals go out strictly because of adding a DP. Modding is always at your own risk and it's always a possibility that a mod will cause a negative affect in one way or another. We run a catted downpipe from CPE on our car and just made 290whp on pump gas, no meth or e85, 18psi. So it can still make good power, that's not a problem.

There's no perfect answer unfortunately. If you want to make power with the car, you have to open up the exhaust, plain and simple. If you do it and your turbo smokes....then you found a weakness the car had before you put it on. You figure out how to fix it and keep moving on your modding path. That's what modding is.

This is true. I do want to make more power, so i guess its time to sack up. I have a buddy who also was looking at a cpe downpipe, so you may be getting an order of 2 DP's soon! He wants a catless, while i'd get a catted. Do you have catless dp's in stock?
