We have an Autotech Fuel Pump Internal Fairy who knows the name/address of the person and date they are going to purchase at least 2 months in advance of them actually purchasing. Thats how we get them out so quick

Have they also changed the color of the sleeve? All the photos i've seen has the sleeve the same color as the piston (dark charcoal color)

Yeah, I received mine yesterday with the same bagged packaging. The new sleeve looks to be a more sheen silver color. As long as they work, I don't care!

Just want to start off by saying hello, I have questions being new to the Mazda scene. I have a 2010 speed 3 that I purchased new I have 12k on it and am interested in installing a cold air intake and aftermarket bpv valve, my question is do I need to get a tune with these bolt on accessories, I keep getting mixed answers on the subject, thanks for your time.

Autotech is no longer doing the coating on the internals and that is why they are a different color now.

It is always best to tune for aftermarket modifications, but it isn't completely necessary for just an intake. A tune will make the run better with the mods you are adding though.

The long piston is still coated, but the stationary slug in the bottom is not coated.
