Hey guys, something you may not know due to our lack of advertising it, is that we sell Forgestar Wheels.

A little bit about the process used to create Forgestar Wheels.


With over 30 years of combined experience in the automotive wheel industry Forgestar Performance Wheels has bridged the gap between forged wheels and cast wheels. Forgestar Performance Wheels is proud to introduce the world's first one piece lightweight rotary forged custom flow formed wheel lineup.

Rotary Forged Flow Forming is a production procedure that turns the wheel (or rim section) over a special mandrel and three hydraulic rollers using tremendous pressure. The pressure and turning then force the rim area to form against the mandrel, creating the shape and width of the rim. During Flow Forming, the rim actually "flows" down to create the full rim width. The pressure applied to the cast rim actually changes its mechanical properties, so its strength and impact values become similar to those of a forged rim. That translates to up to 15% less weight when compared to a standard cast wheel. Our technological breakthroughs in heat treating allow us to increase dent resistance without having to make the wheel heavier.

Forgestar Performance Wheels proprietary Rotary Forged Flow Forming technology allows the customers to choose between a range of offsets for every wheel width that is offered. The end consumer is able to choose a wheel that will perfectly fit their own individual vehicle. All Forgestar Performance Wheels are compatible with tire pressure sensor monitors and allow clearance for most high performance brake caliper upgrades.

Forgestar Performance Wheels are backed by a lifetime structural warranty to the original retail purchaser. A limited one year manufacturer's warranty guarantees wheels will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal and reasonable use.

What we have to offer!

First of all, we can get any Forgestar wheel for you guys but the most popular models are the CF5 and the F14.

The CF5 comes in 18x8.5, and the F14 comes in 18x8.5, 17x8.5, and 17x9. All Forgestar Wheels are built to order and when you order through the website, we will contact you to get your specific offset. You can choose an offset between +26 and +50.

But wait! Thats not all!! Not only is shipping to the continental US included in the price of the wheels, but your choice of several different options of powdercoat is as well!



Any of their standard Powdercoat options can be applied to the wheel at no extra cost, or you can request a bare wheel to have your own color applied after you get them.

Not only are these wheels great to look at but you can expect to shave off a decent chunk of rotational mass while you are at it. Our 18x8.5 wheels that we installed on the shop car weigh in at about 18lbs which is incredibly light for an 18" wheel.

I have the F-14's on my speed 6. LOVE the look of them. I wish I got to deal with Edge for them as the manufacturer is a little slow.

Just as a note to others - these wheels came painted & clear coated and my clear coat was peeling within 3-4 months / 3000km or so. It may have been a rare case of improper preparation (which is what they blamed). I ended up powder-coating them instead, which is how they should have come in the first place IMO.

Edit: Edgeauto clarified in the thread that they do powder coat them now. Hooray!

Edit: In case someone was wondering, these are 18x8.5+45 (it's in my sig too). I'm lowered a bit on coils and had to roll the backs pretty much flat as far around the wheel well as I could. Didn't do anything to the front. I think it rubs on huge compression events but nothing seems to be damaged as a result.

Thats weird that yours were painted. And maybe its something they recently started doing but they should all be powdercoated now.

Also, since these are built to order, they will take anywhere from 6 to 8 weeks to ship once the order is placed.

Perhaps they had too much issue with them being painted & having the clear coat peel. I highly doubt I was the only one having the issue. I think it was 3 years ago that I got them. Glad to hear they are powdercoating them!

Black colors look really good on red cars. I'm not sure what bright colors work with red. Green and red is kinda taken by Christmas...

Fellow member was asking to see these templates in the Forgestar F-14 wheels. The wheels are 18"x8.5" +45offset. The templates state Mitsubishi Lancer, and were given to me. Just sharing the knowledge.

The brembo's are closer to fitting than the stop tech's were. Both would require a small spacer with the 45 offset. The hub rings stayed on the hub and didn't feel like moving so I tried to centralize them as best I could.
