Good website for OEM and aftermarket parts?
 

Hello everyone,,
I own a VW, and there are sites like ecstuning.com and pelicanparts.com that have great lists of both OEM and high quality aftermarket parts for basically the whole car. My girlfriend has an 07 3i, and the only sites I can find are either the online warehouses that don't look too reputable or ones that specialize in just a few mazdaspeed style parts and don't really have a large library. I've done what I consider a fair bit of googling too. I'm mainly looking for a site that might offer replacement air filter, a good set of plugs, stage 1 brake pads, OE rotors, some bolt on odds and ends, that kind of stuff. Nothing major, but I'd like a good pick of quality brands.

TLDR are there any decent websites that have a comprehensive parts list that includes both OEM and stage 1/2 type parts???

ROCKAUTO will have all those things and more

And often sends the wrong part. They sometimes don’t seem to know a Mazdaspeed from a regular Mazda or a Gen 1 from Gen 2 when it matters. If you order from them you better independently cross-reference part numbers from another vendor or against OEM.

The section you're on is Edgeautosport, email them they can get what you need. Even of it isn't listed on their site they can get it drop shipped and from my experience dealing with them for years it's an excellent price, and i live on the other side of the planet to them.

I always cross reference part numbers. i have been burned before. actually Ive noticed a lot of weird things with the speed model my gen 2 is registered as a Mazda 3 sport because the Mazdaspeed isn't in the DMV's computer. Im insured the same way. when i needed a new in tank fuel pump the dealer needed my VIN number and their computers told them it wasn't even a speed and tryed to say it must have just been rebaddged. :facepalm2:
