Their warranty is fantastic. I'm on H&R's and the rears have gone out 3-4 times and they they are quick to return money when you do the advance replacement. I've had one front go out and it was the same way.

I have zero complaints on the ride with these!! These struts are for a car with lowering springs. They also make ones for stock ride height.

Approx. 4 yrs. aggressive springs and a lot of miles driven. I do blame Boston roads for two of those. It takes like 10 mins to swap these out.

+1 on these. I ran them for about 6 months on H&R springs and they rode awesome. Never had an issue with blow outs or anything like that. (i would hope not with as short a time as it was)

For what it is worth, I know these did not alter my ride height. I think the problem you were referring to was something about the rear on the pu being saggy from the install. So because I have a Gen1 I can't help with that sorry.

nearly 2 years and 35k on mine with no issues. Stock springs. I had eibachs on at first but hated then and went back to OEM.

I think the front of my car sits just a hair higher than stock but I'm not too bothered by it. I know there are reports of FSDs raising the front though

I just bought these (not installed). I will have them on stock springs for a bit but I will be buying Ground Control coilover conversion springs for them so I can customize my rider height.

the eibachs were softer than OEM and rode badly. Rear dropped too much for wide tires and coupled with the softness I rubbed everywhere. The shocks have been great but I didn't like the springs. Fronts were okay I guess but OEM are better all around IMO

Good to know. I was very close to buying those but then I saw the post for ground controls. You should consider the ground control coilover conversion springs. They're height adjustable from stock height to something like a minus 1.60 inches. They also have 3 springs to choose from touring, aggressive and race. It's the all around package for Koni owners. Can't wait to get mine.

Which Eibach springs did you have? The sportlines or the Prokit?

I had Prokit with these koni yellow. I found the springs a little too soft as well, but definitely stiffer than OEM. I ran 235/45/17 with the rear fender shaved. you probably will not need any fender work if going a tad narrower.

I traded my H&R coilovers to EIbach Pro Kit with koni yellows. These things ride AMAZING not as much go cart handling as the coilovers but still responsive enough for me. The comfort is outstanding, and i just left it at the settings the PO had. These arent nearly as "boat like" as the stock springs and shocks. Maybe stock springs with konis might be better but Eibach/Koni for me is above and beyond better then OEM. Everyone who has ridden in my car after the coils comments on how much smoother it is. I have yet to load the rear with gear and see if it rubs though.

I think i might have the stock spring version of these Koni's i didnt know there was a different model. That might be why i dont think the top nut on my struts clamps down enough to compress my springs......But it rides perfect.

Edge how much shorter are the lowered spring version? Im going to compare part #'s tonight.

I don't think there are different models. The Koni Yellows are designed to work with both stock and lowering springs

Understood. My issue is having to remove the whole damper to adjust the rear. That's a pain in the ass.

I have no complaints about my yellows and to be honest removing the strut isn't the pain, it's separating the strut from the top hat because it requires two people or a bench vice. Either way you need an impact gun, I'm not sure how else you would do it without one. Just something else for you consider.

These paired with swifts are very nice IMO.

I've been running the STR.t with H&R springs for two weeks now. They are a great DD option. I feel this combo rides better than stock and offers a significant improvement in composure and performance at street speeds. On track I'm sure they are under damped but so far for the price I don't think you can go wrong.
