(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score JP could you or Eric please see if you can find the KW V3 rear spring rate for me. I searched high and low on the net and have only found they are progressive. I know once the springs are static loaded they are linear and I'd like to know what they linear rate is. Once my build is done I guess you know what I'm getting next . . . . -Paul

| Not Ranked : 0 score Well this thread sure did sneak right past us didn't it? 400lb on the front but they don't release progressive rates because it has to do with where the ride height is set at. |

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Thanks JP, I think, I'm going to use the rear springs from the Teins in the rear and the rest will be the V3 setup. This way I have linear 400lbs in the front and rear without going to custom.

| Not Ranked : 0 score I don't buy that the rear rate depends on the ride height, because you're not really preloading anything when you change the height in the rear. For all intents and purposes, when the weight of the car is resting on those rear springs, they are linear.

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Thank you, but everyone I ask gives me the same story. Its progressive, well I know that but once the chassis is settled the springs are linear and I want to know that rate.

| Not Ranked : 0 score I'm going to pry KW on Monday and find this out for you. They can't make a spring and not know the technical info for it. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score Oh I understand completely. I'm just pointing out that the statement that claims that the rate depends on ride height in this application is patently wrong.
