MZR Motor Build Kits MZR Motor Build Kit With all the motor builds that have been going on lately we decided to put a few motor build kits together for you guys. One of the most difficult parts to building your motor is figuring out what all OEM parts you need to get to go with your rods and pistons. So with the MZR Motor Build Kit, we make it easy for you by putting them all together where they can be purchased with the click of one button. There are three kits to choose from depending on what all you need or want to do with your build. The Stage 1 kit includes the following. http://i1289.photobucket.com/albums/...psa959e7ab.jpg You get to choose between OEM, Clevite AL, and Clevite H series (trimetal) bearings, and you can add a Cometic Head gasket if you want. This kit includes the essentials for a bare minimum motor build. The Stage 2 Kit includes the following. http://i1289.photobucket.com/albums/...ps6c44cc62.jpg It builds on the stage 1 kit while adding a few more parts that are advisable to replace at the time of your motor build. The Stage 2 kit will also give you the option to add the OEM VVT, cam bolt, and cam washer for a VVT replacement. The Stage 3 Kit includes the following. http://i1289.photobucket.com/albums/...psdd41f7d0.jpg Again, it builds on the Stage 1 and 2 kits and adds all of the Oil Pump assembly. It is wise to replace higher mileage oil pumps as well as any oil pump that has been subject to a blown motor or even a spun bearing as any metal shavings that get picked up can ruin your new motor. The Stage 1 MZR Motor Build Kit is $772.57 The Stage 2 MZR Motor Build Kit is $949.40 The Stage 3 MZR Motor Build Kit is $1246.11 All three stages will vary in price depending on which bearing options you go with as well the other options that are available for you to add. The VIP coupon code applies to this so if you don't have it message me for details :) Bonus: We also created a VVT Replacement Kit for you guys! It comes with all the parts necessary to replace your VVT. http://i1289.photobucket.com/albums/...ps0da98545.jpg MZR VVT Replacement Kit MS3 / MS6 2006 to 2013 is $404.17 |

Does the stage 1 come with a gasket kit directly from mazda? As in are they oem gaskets? |
I'm hoping it's quite some time before I need this service, but it sure is nice to have it simplified for when the day comes. |

+1 on this kit. |
Nicely done Edge....Nicely done |
This is so awesome. Stage 3 kit + Rods + Pistons + some machine work and you got yourself a built motor for under $3k I like... |
Wow, this is excellent. Way to go edge! |

you might beable to have a short block for around 3k, but a completely longblock would be like 5-8k depending on parts selection and application for the motor. |

Awesome setup!!! @LumberJack; |
@EdgeAutosport.com; why is the 2006-2011 one price, but the 2012 option is $220 dollars more? I don't see it showing any difference or am I missing something? |

Anyone is more than welcome to shop around but no one has made it this easy to understand and purchase what is required to go build a motor successfully. We get calls on a weekly basis asking, "what do I need to build my motor?" and this is designed to help those people. Just to clarify, if Mazda Motorsports offers better prices, by all means, you have the right to purchase from them. We don't get the same pricing they do. We have an account with a local Mazda dealership that we buy our OEM parts from. We charge much less than MSRP which is what most people would have to pay for walking into a dealership AND we pay for the shipping. I just want to make sure everyone understands why we deleted that post. If anything, it's a legitimate post but it just belongs in a different section. Hopefully that makes sense. |

I highy doubt that post would have made any dent in the sales of this kits. which is why i question your censorship. Sure this is your section that you pay for you can do whatever you like as long as its inside your agreement. I just dont see a need to delete it when its more than likely not going to hurt your sales. Usually you are pretty stand up guys trying to steer people in the best direction for them. That post deletion seemed out of Character for what i normally see from edge |

Do apologize for getting off topic. Even if there may be a discount elsewhere I would have to source everything. This makes it unbelievably easy. Thanks edge |

very nice, this will make it easier on people. I wish this was available a month ago. |
We keep the OEM stuff that makes up this kit in stock and ready to ship! Let us know if you need anything! |
Anybody looking to build their motor soon? Make sure you have all the parts you need ahead of time to save on down time and unnecessary headaches! |
If you are worried about all the little bits you need to put your engine built or OEM back together, you can stop. We have done the work for you! |
You guys should do a Staqe 4 with OEM head and main bolts. I'll be in touch to order one of these setups soon I think. |
