Default Password JDM for you Carbon Fiber Nerds

First of all, I myself am a carbon fiber nerd. I love all things carbon fiber (real not fake) and I get all giddy like a school girl at a Justin Bieber concert anytime I see a car featuring a healthy (yet tasteful) amount of carbon fiber. So if you are like me and have seriously considered buying a carbon fiber toilet, then here are the engine dress up mods for you.

Password JDM

Unfortunately for all you gen 1 and speed 6 guys, the pu's have beat you out on this one. Everything here is for Gen2 speed 3 only.

Lots of engine bay dress up here with things ranging in price from $100 to $500. Click on the pictures to check it out on our site. Or follow the link to see all the Password JDM parts we carry for the Speed 3.

Dry Carbon 2pc Front Splitter - $399.99

Dry Carbon Fiber Battery Cover (type II)
- $179.99

Dry Carbon Fiber Battery Over-Cover (Type I) - $179.99

Dry Carbon Fiber cooling Plate - $299.99

Dry Carbon Fiber Exhaust Shroud - $109.99

Dry Carbon Fiber Fuse Box Over-Cover
- $109.99

Dry Carbon Fiber Hood Scoop (Type I) - $349.99

Dry Carbon Fiber Hood Scoop (Type II) - $399.99

Dry Carbon Fiber Intercooler Shroud - $499.99

Dry Carbon Fiber Left Frame Shield
- $199.99

Dry Carbon Fiber Right Frame Shield - $249.99

Dry Carbon Fiber Gurney flap - $169.99

I've always been a fan of everything in moderation, but with carbon fiber, I say this...

I saw this stuff couple of days ago and want stuff badly.. Except that intercooler cover as I don't have a top mount. But would be cool to have a engine cover in CF for front mount cars... :O

I need to take a photo of all the PasswordJDM carbon fiber goodness I have under my hood along with an EdgeAutosport sticker on it. I also modified mine so my hood lift had clearance and I could fill my windshield washer tank with out removing one of the panels. I also need to get a fuse cover once I get a little extra money!

I feel ya. I wanted them too, but with a plasti-dipped rear valance...no need.
I do have their gurney flap though. I will say this. Coat it with some UV protectant. The top side on mine got a little sun bleached this last summer.

I said damn near the same thing when I saw all of this. There really just aren't many companies still making parts for the MS6 other than CorkSport and CP-e, and that last one is kind of fading

So I'm thinking about those exhaust cover thingies, how well to they handle with heat? My CS tips are pretty close to the bumper and I would hate for them to melt....

Not saying these are exactly the same material, but remember the leading edges of the space shuttle that got damaged by the foam? Carbon fiber. Must be pretty heat resistant to be used there.

With that said, if it DOES get too hot, it'd probably just start on fire. Formula1 cars whose bodies ignite are darn difficult to put out. Dat crosslinked polymer doh!

It's about a dollar an oz. and I only had to use a very small amount, so it'll last quite a while.

I've gotta get some for the carbon fiber cans on my bike. Starting to fade a bit and I just realized I never put any protectant on them.
