Edge you should make a kit with a t3 mani and other pte turbo options that don't come with a vband housing. Us people that like to turn don't need massive power numbers from these turbos. I believe a 5130 would be a great track/ax turbo.

There's no need for any turbo between a bnr and a 5858, so I see very little marker for something like that. Plus they already offer the full-race kit for little turbos.

Sure there is. I could piece together my own kit with a 5130 and be significantly less money than a full race kit. The 5130 would also out perform the small frame efrs imho.

The bnr tops out at what 400 420 at its limit. So it will be breathing fire up top just like the k04 does when pushed to the max.

The 5858 is rated for 620 thats a big gap between it and the s3.
On a ms6 I might agree with u. But on a speed I see 0 need for more than about 500 if your doing road course work. So why not run mid 4 hundreds on a turbo that wouldn't be at its limit. Like a 5130

First, but least importantly, the 5858 is rated to 590hp.

The key mistake you're making here is trying to judge these turbos strictly based off the maximum HP potential, which is the worst possible thing you could do, but almost everyone seems to do this.

For instance, my 6466 is rated to a ridiculous 900hp... but it's the PERFECT turbo for 600whp, considerably less than the maximum hp rating.

If you're trying to save money and just want a cheaper kit put together, I completely understand, however if you're not looking for the 425-525whp the 5858 is perfect for, you can just save a ton of money by going with a bnr or bolt-on ATP.

No it's not. There is no way the 5858 spools fast enough for my needs.

The 5858 will pretty easily see 20psi <3500rpm and have fantastic transient repsonse (which is what matters even more)... So you're saying your needs are something that spools even faster than that, but NOT a Bnr or bolt-on 28r?

If that's the case, then I'll restate that I believe you're part of a an extremely narrow market and it would make little sense for Edge or Kozmic to put time into development of such a kit.

@Hanzodurrr; did the wastegate come with clamps? The only clamps I ordered were the ones to attach the turbo to the manifold and to attach the downpipe to the turbo.

Lmao. That's what I get for not reading the whole post. Thanks man. As of now I have the fastest speed in town which doesn't say much about this place. There's a decent amount of speeds here and we get together every week or two. I tried to start a local Nator but they are lazy and cheap and don't want to make a profile and pay $25 so it's on them. A lot of the guys come over my house for installs. So you and I would make the only BT ones here. I'm keeping mine a secret until I get the tune done then I'll release the Keaken.

I highly doubt it! It isn't going to be the same exact style vband as the precision turbo.

I haz this kit with a 5858jb and @atvfreek; has this thing spooled up to 20psi by 3,700rpm give or take.
